Larry the Lawnmower is an Australian pre-schoolers program that airs on Seven Network in Australia, created by Tim Faircloth and is produced by Ambience Entertainment The series follows Larry the Lawnmower and his four friends Wheelie the Wheelbarrow, Rosie the Rake, Tangles the Hose and Flash the Spade and their adventures in the backyard. The program is narrated and all the characters are voiced by Jay Laga'aia. The program premiered on 9 December 2008 at 11:00am. A second series began on 16 February 2009. On 21 May 2009 it was announced due to popular demand the series would be repeated.

John Safran vs God

John Safran vs God is an eight-part television documentary series by John Safran which was broadcast on SBS TV of Australia in 2004. It has been described in a media release as "John Safran's most audacious project yet". It had a much more serious tone than Safran's previous work Music Jamboree. The show was released by Ghost of Your Ex-Boyfriend Productions and SBS Independent, was co-written with Mark O'Toole, directed by Craig Melville, and produced by Selin Yaman. The series won the 2005 Australian Film Institute Award for Best Comedy Series. The show's opening theme is Hate Priest by the band Mozart on Crack. The opening sequence features John in a black suit breaking out of a patch of black scorched earth with his bare hands during a thunderstorm. The words "when the thousand years are over Satan will be released from his prison" are spoken in a low pseudo-ominous voice.

The Nation was an Australian satirical sketch comedy and discussion series covering the week's events across political and social spectrums, premiering on Tuesday 5 June 2007 at 9:30 pm on the Nine Network. It was hosted by Mick Molloy with a supportive cast of Akmal Saleh, Jackie O, Tiffany Cherry, Gary Eck, Paul Calleja, Nikki Osborne and Pete Smith as the announcer for the show. The show was taped at the GTV-9 Melbourne studios in front of a studio audience. The first guests on the show were Peter Garrett, Stephen Curry and Lisa McCune. The final episode was broadcast on Wednesday 29 August 2007.

John Safran's Music Jamboree

John Safran's Music Jamboree was a light-hearted Australian music documentary television series, hosted by John Safran for SBS television. The program was produced by Selin Yaman and directed by Craig Melville, Clayton Jacobson and a number of other directors under the production company Ghost of Your Ex-Boyfriend Productions in association with SBS Independent. It screened in 2002, and consisted of sketches and outlandish public stunts, typical of Safran's work. The series won two Australian Film Institute Awards; "Best Comedy Series" and "Most Innovative Program Concept". SBS followed the series up with the similarly styled John Safran vs. God in 2004.

Dating in the Dark Australia premiered on the Fox8 subscription television on 30 November 2010. The show's format is based on a Dutch dating show called Daten In het Donker. The series is hosted by Laura Dundovic. A second season premiered on 10 April 2012. The premise of the show involves three single guys and three single girls who are brought together in one house. They only come into contact with the opposite sex in a dark room, with high definition night vision cameras capturing their meetings. The contestants are encouraged to touch each other to see if they like the physical body of the person they may go on a romantic date with.

TV Burp was an Australian television comedy program which premiered on the Seven Network on 23 July 2009 hosted by Ed Kavalee. The show presents a satirical look at the previous week's television, including extracts from TV shows with added sketches, observational voice-overs, and guest appearances. The show was based on the original British award winning TV series Harry Hill's TV Burp. The first season finished on Thursday 10 September, with Seven hoping to bring it back some time in the near future, though the second series did not air in 2010.

Dave in the Life

Dave in the Life is an Australian television documentary series starring Dave Zwolenski first screened on SBS One in 2009. The show saw Dave stepping into the shoes of different people each week as he tries life as a shock jock, a politician, a homeless person, a headline-grabbing artist, a survivalist, a hunter and a pensioner. The series is described as 'a comical journey into some great "Aussie divides but also explores the serious social issues, myths, themes and topical stories of modern Australia'. Some of the guests Dave spent time with included Barnaby Joyce, Andrew Fraser, Mike Carlton, Sandy Aloisi, Housing Minister Tanya Plibersek and a range of others. Three episodes of the show were aired on SBS, but was then pulled due to programming issues. The show was then aired three months later at a different time slot of 9pm Thursdays and finally moved again to 8:30pm. The show received mostly positive reviews but was not renewed for a second season.
