Beauty and the Geek is a reality television show, first aired in the United Kingdom on E4 on February 7, 2006, following the success of the format in the United States, and was advertised similarly as "the Ultimate Social Experiment". The first series ended on 14 March, and was repeated on Channel 4 beginning on 31 March. There is no host per se, although voiceovers are provided by David Mitchell of Peep Show fame and the physical actions normally requiring a host are performed by a silent "butler" known as "Gates".

The Tube is a British television programme shown on ITV London and certain BSkyB television channels including Sky Real Lives and Sky3. It is a documentary/docusoap about the London Underground network, and follows London Underground workers—drivers, station staff, managers, and so forth—showing the Underground system to the public through their eyes. The programme was produced by Mosaic Films first for Carlton Television, and later for ITV London and Sky Travel. To date, there have been three series produced, including a two-part special on the 7 July 2005 London bombings. The series is now sometimes repeated, mostly on Pick TV.

The Apprentice

The Apprentice is an Irish reality television series, in which a group of aspiring young businessmen and women compete for the chance to win a job as "apprentice" to Bill Cullen, a business magnate. The first series of the show aired on TV3 on 22 September 2008, and finished on 8 December 2008, with Brenda Shanahan as the winner. Shanahan worked at Cullen's company, Renault Ireland, on a 12-month contract worth €100,000. Steve Rayner, a Business Development Manager, won the second series in 2009. That series also featured Breffny Morgan. Michelle Massey won the job in the 2010 series, while Eugene Heary won in 2011. It was announced in May 2012 that the programme would not be renewed for a new series. The Apprentice is modelled on the American series of the same name, which stars entrepreneur Donald Trump, as well as the British series starring magnate Alan Sugar. Bill Cullen's assistants in the Irish version of The Apprentice are his partner, and former model, Jackie Lavin and PR "guru", Brian Purcell.

Vroom Vroom

Vroom Vroom was a British television series. shown on Sky One. The presenters were Brendan Coogan, Jon Desborough, Lisa Rogers, and Emma Parker Bowles. Each show ran for one hour, and featured a varied mix of segments, from test drives to banger racing and tips for buying and selling cars. Each episode included a regular strand presented by Emma Parker Bowles who turns her hand to banger, lawn mower and mini-auto grass racing. Other contributors included segments by Bruno Senna, nephew of late Grand Prix driver Ayrton Senna and professional test driver Duncan Gray. For the second seires of the show, it had some new segments. Brendan Coogan's 'Test Drive' section was changed, instead of the car being put through various tests, it was subjected to an unusual test - such as the Audi Q7 was navigated through various courses, but driven by children. Another long running segment was run at Santa Pod to make a 1992 Mk 3 Vauxhall Astra 1.6 estate go faster via a weekly modification costing less than £150. Solutions included a performance air filter, exhaust, and stripping weight out of the car. Another weekly regular segment was "The Cat & Mouse Challenge" where celebrities had to evade a 4.2L Jaguar driven by one of the country's top drivers, Steve "Cecil" Anscombe.
