Twipsy was the official Mascot of the EXPO 2000 World's Fair held in Hannover. Twipsy could be acquired on the EXPO area as Stuff puppet, on T-shirts, Mugs, Watches and other souvenirs, in addition to those with the EXPO logo. Apart from that, stamps showing Twipsy were released, and full-sized versions of Twipsy were running around on the EXPO area and advertising for the EXPO in other countries.

Bon Courage was a German educational television series produced by Bayerischer Rundfunk, teaching French as a foreign or second language to German viewers. Produced in 1991 and 1992, the series was divided into three parts of 13 episodes each, focusing on the essentials of the French language in daily life. It is presented by Anouk Charlier. The French actor Diane Stolojan, Alain Leverrier, Henri Allan Veillet and Gilles Marchais occur in scenes that reflect everyday situations in a humorous way. Anouk Charlier announces the exercises and comments on the films of the French culture and history in German. The title song is the Faust Waltz from the opera Faust by Charles Gounod.

Kassai and Leuk is a children's television series by Marathon Media Group. This short-lived animation series was based on African stories. The three protagonists are the young man Kassai, his sidekick Leuk, a talking humanoid hare who knows the jungle well, and Princess Marana, who is cursed to transform into a gazelle during the day. In the series, Kassai goes on various quests to find the scattered parts of his tribe's patron goddess, Koorie, and tries to stop the plans of the evil god Toguum, who can possess people to do his bidding. It was similar in style to Mr. Bean or The Benny Hill Show. The second, and the more popular was "The Detectives", starring the police officers Briggs and Louis, who watched too many TV Police dramas, and unsuccessfully tried to emulate them. Such was the popularity of this sketch that it was transformed into its own television series, The Detectives. Due to their involvement in both Canned Carrott and the contemporary The Mary Whitehouse Experience, Steve Punt and Hugh Dennis also got their own sketch show, called The Imaginatively Titled Punt & Dennis Show, which ran for two series.

Working Lunch was a television programme broadcast on BBC Two which covered business, personal finance and consumer news between 1994 and 2010. The programme was first aired on 19 September 1994. It had a quirky, relaxed style, especially when compared to other BBC business shows such as World Business Report. In April 2010, the BBC announced that the programme was being cancelled at the end of July 2010. GMT with George Alagiah took its place in the schedule at 12:30 on BBC Two.

Law and Disorder is a British sitcom that aired on ITV in 1994. Starring Penelope Keith, it was written by Alex Shearer, who had also written No Job for a Lady, which Keith appears in. It was directed and produced by John Howard Davies. Law and Disorder was made for the ITV network by Central and Thames Television.

Beat the Crusher was a game show airing on Sky One during 1999 in the United Kingdom. It was hosted by comedian Freddie Starr, with assistant Melinda Messenger. The show was noted for its bizarre end game, which featured two couples gambling their automobiles for the chance to win a new one. The winning team received the new car, while the losing couple's car was dropped into a car crusher and destroyed, with their bus fare home being given as a consolation prize.
