In the first half of the 20th century, which was full of war and turmoil, people were like duckweed in the vast ocean, and their fate was entirely up to them. In the gap between the two worldwide massacres, the trend of the times pushed several young people together. During the First World War, the United States, an isolated paradise, gathered three international students from the East, namely the Chinese youth Wen Weijun (played by Zhao Wenxuan), Yamamoto Isoroku's cousin Yamamoto Yasuo (played by Feng Yuanzheng) and the beautiful Japanese royal descendant Qingtian Xiu (played by Wu Qianqian). Love and ideals constituted the main theme of their lives, and the shadow of World War II and the war of aggression against China ruthlessly threw the young people back to the real world.
