Four young people have been arrested for crimes they did not commit. When one of them learns that his daughter is in a critical condition because of an incurable heart ailment, he decides to break out of the jail. He is joined by three other prisoners who also decide to break out of jail. Although their motives and backgrounds are different, all of them are innocent and there are reasons why they cannot wait till their release. They have to get out of jail as soon as they can. So they band together and begin to plan their escape in order to accomplish their goals. Bound for Tokyo, they have to overcome frequent challenges for the sake of their families and loved ones.

Set in Osaka, high-spirited yakuza Kuwabara and buttoned-down construction consultant Ninomiya form an odd couple as they rail against the city’s “bad elements” drawn to money like sharks to the scent of blood. Keigo and Yugo play together in a park near their home. Keigo feels a deep sense of remorse for what he did at the park. 20 years later, Keigo works hard as a detective to make up for his mistake, until an incident comes up suddenly. It starts from a live TV show, which sets out to search for missing people. Eiichi and Harue ask the viewers for information about Yugo, however, right after that, Eiichi dies in an accident. Meanwhile, Tajima, who gives himself up to the show with information about Yugo is assaulted by someone and goes into a coma, and Keigo is eventually appointed to be in charge of these cases. When Tajima recovers consciousness, he finds Keigo and shouts “He is the one who assaulted me!” At the same time, Keigo’s gene information is found at the scene of the incident…This makes Keigo to feel certain that Yugo is still alive and begins his revenge.

The story is set in the not-so-distant future. Five "Black Points" suddenly appeared around the world as portals to parallel worlds. Immediately after, strange creatures began their invasion from these portals. These creatures are the inhabitants of five worlds—the same worlds in different timeframes. In order to ensure their own future timeframe survives, each of the five invasion forces battle to wipe the other future timeframes out. The key is one card-shaped device.

Tomozo Sudo is a detective. Due to an incident, he is excluded from investigative work.
