ttn was a 30 minute weekly Australian news program aimed at school-aged children produced and broadcast by Network Ten from 2004 to 2008. It presented current issues and events in a way that could be understood and further explored by its intended viewers. ttn premiered on 3 February 2004. It was created in the wake of an outcry against the cancellation of Behind the News, a long running ABC TV program similar in objective to ttn that was axed for a time due to budget cuts. ttn itself was axed in December 2008 after five years on air following budgetary constraints. ttn aired every Tuesday each week during the school year. Episodes were supplemented by features and activities printed weekly in News Limited newspapers.

Topstars is a Dutch adaption of Belgian children's soap Spring about a rockband rehearsing at the dance-school of the same name. Both versions are produced by Studio 100. Starting out on October 26, 2004, Topstars ran for three seasons on channel Z@PP. A DVD box-set is expected to be released soon.

A young man passes a pet shop on his way home, and seeing a kappa in the window, decides to buy it on a whim. He brings the creature home, and names him Kaatan. He's never owned a kappa before, so he relies heavily on a book he purchased on the subject of raising and training kappa. The book gives several good tips for bringing up a smart and well behaved kappa, and it all seems very simple. Unfortunately, putting these techniques into practice and actually making them work is not quite as easy as the book implies. Kaatan seems to understand things at first, but usually ends up either forgetting what he's learned, or isn't interested in learning in the first place. However, this particular young man has a lot of patience, and continues his possibly fruitless effort to raise Kaatan into a pet he can be proud of.

Consolevania is a video games TV show filmed in and around Glasgow, Scotland. It is notable as one of very few online TV shows to make the leap onto broadcast TV as the show videoGaiden, which has had three series shown on BBC Scotland. The name Consolevania is a reference to Konami's long-running horror-adventure game series Castlevania. Fittingly, the first game reviewed on the show was Castlevania: Lament of Innocence. An 18- to 24-year-old male, or gay male/lesbian female, goes on three separate dates with three moms, who try to convince them to pick their son or daughter to date. The dater only meets the mother and makes his or her decision solely on their impression of the mother and her descriptions of her child. The dates are varied and are occasionally geared towards the dater's interests. The dates range from a simple lunch date to cheerleading lessons, washing cars, picking wild flowers, cooking, sports, and even getting tattoos.. At the end of the date the mother reports back to the child. The mothers and contestants tend to be very assured of their chances. After all dates are completed, an elaborate beachfront finale is conducted. The dater explains to each mother why he has or has not chosen her child, and one by one the sons or daughters are revealed according to the person's liking. It has been alleged that the show is scripted.

Mad Mad House is a 2004 reality television series about a group of ten contestants competing for $100,000. The contestants live together in a house inhabited by another group of people known as the alts. The alts voted the contestants off by judging them on their ability to perform "trials" which were based loosely on the practices of each alt's lifestyle, and their behavior and attitude with the other guests. The show aired on the Sci Fi Channel in the United States and on Space in Canada. Reruns have also been aired on Fox Reality Channel.
