Flip That House is an American anthology series created by the Discovery Home Channel and now also airing on TLC. Each episode shows a different individual in the process of flipping a house. All episodes show: ⁕Initial cost of purchase ⁕Initial budget and work schedule ⁕"Flip Tips" ⁕Final estimated sell price from a professional real estate agent ⁕Actual budget, work schedule, and possible profit ⁕Some older episodes also have a "Flip Forward" section. The original flippers give an update on their professional and personal lives in the Real Estate Industry. This show differs from many of the other "fix it up" shows in that they do not spend time on actual techniques for doing the work on the houses involved. The focus is more on the trials and tribulations of organizing the business end of things, and the processes of renovating, not the actual renovations themselves.

Digging for the Truth was a History Channel television series. The first three seasons of the show focused on host Josh Bernstein, who journeyed on various explorations of historical icons and mysteries. Bernstein is the president and CEO of BOSS and has a degree in anthropology and psychology from Cornell University. The show airs every Monday night at 9:00 EST on the History Channel. The series premiered in January, 2005 and has since become the highest-rated series in the history of The History Channel, which was surprising given the previous show "Time Titans" from the production crew never made it past the pilot. The third season premiered on January 22, 2007, with a 2-hour special event on the quest for Atlantis. Bernstein announced on February 20, 2007, that he would be leaving The History Channel and Digging for the Truth, and would, as of April, join The Discovery Channel as an executive producer and host of a new prime-time series and specials. Hunter Ellis, host of Tactical to Practical and Man, Moment, Machine for The History Channel, then replaced Josh Bernstein as host.

The Will is an American reality television series on CBS that lasted only one episode, shown on Saturday, January 8, 2005. It centered on the "Benefactor", a multi-millionaire from Arizona named Bill Long. Ten of his friends and relatives competed in a series of challenges to win the right to inherit his "prized possession", a huge Kansas ranch. The show was created by Mike Fleiss, who produced The Bachelor for ABC. The Will is one of only a handful of series in American history to be pulled after one episode. In the case of The Will, cancellation was due to very low ratings. Despite receiving a heavy promotional push from CBS, the program averaged only 4.2 million viewers during its 8:00-9:30PM ET/PT time slot, which made it CBS's lowest-ranked show of the week. The following Saturday, the network replaced it with a re-run of Cold Case, a crime drama. The quick cancellation of The Will was lampooned on an episode of the ABC late night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live! with a montage of clips from the show, and the message "Will Miss You--January 8, 2005 - January 8, 2005." Although it was initially reported that the five remaining episodes could appear on an American cable network, they eventually did air on the Fox Reality Channel not long afterwards, and all six episodes aired in New Zealand beginning in December 2005. In the final episode, Long's wife Penny became the overall winner.

In August 1954, Alcide De Gasperi, now at the end of his personal and political career, left the Christian Democrats' headquarters in Rome and visited his daughter, Lucia, a nun. He revealed to her that he had definitively retired from active politics and was leaving for Sella for a period of rest, necessary for his precarious health. Upon arriving in Sella, where he was reunited with his family, the statesman and his grandson Giorgio went for a walk in the mountains, and there, prompted by the boy's questions, he began to recount his life story, an often painful journey down memory lane.
