Air Farce Live, also credited as Air Farce, previously Royal Canadian Air Farce, and Air Farce—Final Flight! for the final season, was a Canadian sketch comedy series starring the comedy troupe Royal Canadian Air Farce, that previously starred in an eponymous show on CBC Radio, from 1973 to 1997. The top-rated television show was broadcast on CBC Television, beginning in 1993 and ending in December 2008. The Air Farce Live name was adopted in October 2007. For the show's final season which began October 3, 2008, the series was renamed Air Farce—Final Flight!. The show was a weekly topical sketch comedy series focusing on political and cultural satire and was one of the most popular Canadian television shows. It was initially aired as a radio series beginning in 1973, and on radio, Air Farce continued for 24 seasons through 1997. In terms of the troupe's TV career, the first Air Farce TV special aired in 1980. A short-lived Air Farce TV series was broadcast in 1981, and further TV specials aired in 1982, 1983, and 1984. After a long hiatus from TV, a 1992 New Year's Eve special for CBC-TV was well received, and a new Air Farce TV series began in October 1993. The TV series was retitled Air Farce Live beginning with the October 6, 2007 broadcast and was the first Canadian sketch comedy series to be broadcast in HD. The show was broadcast live in the Atlantic time zone and tape delayed in the other time zones.

Adam has Polish ancestry; his father is Polish. Eva is a Swedish girl. The two children live in Liljeholmen, a district of the Swedish capital Stockholm. During the show, Eva and Adam fall in love. Sometimes there are obstacles, but after a while a true love has developed. Other storylines in the show include friendship and bullying. The show is based on the comic books with the same name. Live & Kicking was a BBC Saturday morning children's magazine programme, running from 1993 to 2001. The fourth in a succession of Saturday morning shows, it was the replacement for Going Live!, and took many of its features from it, such as phone-ins, games, comedy, competitions and the showing of cartoons. Once Live & Kicking had become established in series two, it reached its height in popularity during series four, when it was presented by Zoë Ball and Jamie Theakston; their final episode won a BAFTA award. Swift Justice is an American detective drama television series created by Dick Wolf and Richard Albarino, broadcast for one season (13 episodes) on UPN from March 13 to July 17, 1996. James McCaffrey stars as former Navy SEAL Mac Swift, a private investigator fired from the NYPD. He receives support from his former partner Detective Randall Patterson (Gary Dourdan) and his father Al Swift (Len Cariou). Critics noted the series' emphasis on violence, specifically in the pilot's opening sequence, drawing comparisons to The Equalizer (1985–1989) and Die Hard (1988). UPN canceled the program after receiving complaints from viewers, advertisers, and critics for its stark depiction of violence. Wolf considered the cancelation a mistake due to good ratings. Further, it was praised for its visuals and McCaffrey's performance, but often criticized as being either too violent or formulaic.
