Graham's Gang is a British children's comedy first broadcast by the BBC in 1977 and 1979. The gang consisted of five boys - Graham, William, Lux, Robert and Keith - and one girl, Mildred. Plots often revolved around the boys trying to exclude Mildred, who would often use her influential family to force herself back into the gang. Graham's leadership of the gang was constantly threatened by William, whereas Robert and Keith were always on the verge of fighting. Lux provided comic relief because he was rather slow on the uptake. The show was filmed at Leigh Park and Havant, Hampshire. Sir Yellow was a British TV sitcom aired on ITV from 15 July - 19 August 1973. It starred Jimmy Edwards in the title role and also featured Melvyn Hayes, Alan Curtis, and Michael Ripper. The show was set in the 13th century and followed the misadventures of a cowardly, womanising, alcoholic knight. Knowing he can hardly win such a duel, Zoppo and his cronies, Querro and Quarro, the Rat and the Spider, set numerous nasty traps meant to kill the king. If Kalle fails to appear for the duel, the law states that the challenger automatically inherits the throne, making Zoppo king.

With the defeat of the revolution of 1848, the attempt to unite the German states had also failed. An agreement in the spirit of a Greater Germany, as demanded by Emperor Franz Joseph, was out of the question for Bismarck, who had been Prussian Prime Minister since 1862. For him, unity was only conceivable under Prussian leadership and without Austria. The two great powers still fought together in the war against Denmark (1864). Two years later, the separation from Austria was completed in the German War.
