La Voz

La Voz... México is a reality show and singing competition based on the format of The Voice originated in the Netherlands and part of the international franchise The Voice created by television producer John de Mol. Mexico is the first Spanish-speaking country to adapt this format and the first among 6 globally. The show began its first season on September 11, 2011, under the production of Televisa executive producer Miguel Angel Fox. The series' first episode scored a rating of 28.2/47.1, surpassing Spanish-language TV series La Academias rating of 9.6/17. The second season began on September 9, 2012 as scheduled, though was slightly delayed before the airing of its final episode due to the death of judge Jenni Rivera, who died in a plane crash in Iturbide, Nuevo León on December 9, 2012, dedicating an entire episode as a tribute to the late singer.

Machete is a fantasy Philippine drama produced by GMA Network adapted from a character of the same name created by Pablo S. Gomez. Directed by Don Michael Perez, the show premiered on January 24, 2011 replacing Jillian: Namamasko Po on the GMA Telebabad block. The show is broadcast internationally through GMA Pinoy TV on January 26, 2011, two days after its original release. The series is a remake for the movie with the same title which starred Cesar Montano and Rita Avila and was remade again in 1993 which starred Gardo Versoza and Rosanna Roces. The show had its finale on March 18, 2011.

In the Flow with Affion Crockett is a sketch comedy television series starring Affion Crockett and produced by Jamie Foxx, MADtv co-creators Fax Bahr and Adam Small, Arrested Development creator Mitch Hurwitz and Two and a Half Men's Eric and Kim Tannenbaum. Taped in the middle of 2010, it was picked up as a midseason replacement by Fox in September 2010, under the name "Untitled Jamie Foxx Project". A premiere was announced for June 9, 2011, and then canceled. It debuted in an hour-long premiere on August 14, 2011, with four half-hour episodes to air on following weeks. The show has since been cancelled due to low ratings. Affion himself, said he might produce it himself and take it to an other channel. No word from Fox about the show's return.

Kaido published "Madonna Verde" in 2008 as a sequel to "Gene Waltz," continuing the story around the controversial issue of surrogate pregnancy in Japan. Kuninaka plays the doctor Rie Sonezaki, known as the "Cool Witch" by her colleagues in the obstetrics department. The character was previously played by Miho Kanno (33) in the movie version of "Gene Waltz." In "Madonna Verde," Rie and her husband (played by comedian Jin Katagiri) want to have a child, but Rie lost her uterus due to an earlier illness. She decides to ask her own mother Midori (Matsuzaka) to be the surrogate mother, and the three of them proceed with their plan in secret. However, a man named Maruyama (Kyozo Nagatsuka), who is in love with Midori, finds out about their plan. In 1992, Phet, a young singer in a pub, dreams of being famous with his supportive girlfriend Preapim. But Pim's father didn't like Phet, so he planned Pim's engagement with Pisanu. Pim and Phet then fled to live together in Hua Hin. One day, both of them went to visit the temple fair where they argue and get separated. Phet meets a fortuneteller who takes him 20 years into the future. There, he sees the much older Pim with her daughter and husband Phitsanu. Going to his old house, Phet learns that he died on the night of the temple fair with Pim. He then decides to stay in the future to investigate the cause of his own death, in order to go back and fix the past events and not let himself die.
