Shima Shima Tora no Shimajirō is a Japanese anime show aimed at preschoolers. The series debuted on December 13, 1993. Shimajiro was formed in 1988, followed by Kodomo Charenji. It was featured on the E! "The Soup" segment.
This is the story of Onihara Natsuki, who is married to Ando Fuuma. During his high school days, Ando Fuuma was once in love with a schoolmate, Atari Kousuke. However, as Kousuke is straight, Fuuma tried his best to forget about him, by hanging out at Shinjuku 2-chome. Together with Kousuke's girlfriend's brother, Tanno Arashi, Fuuma has sexual orgies with partners of both sexes. Now, Ando Fuuma is married to Onihara Natsuki, who doesn't know that Ando is gay. One day, Natsuki accidentally found out that Ando is gay. In her despair, she sets out to Shinjuku 2-chome, wandering around aimlessly deep in the night. There, she bumps into Arashi, and had a one-night stand with him, after which Arashi demanded money from her. Soon after, Natsuki realises she is pregnant with Arashi's child. She abhors the thought of having a child from paid sex and is adamant to have an abortion.
Miki loses her mysterious bell-shaped object, that her school friend picks up. As they return home by bus, inexplicably the brakes fail, the bus rolls into a long dark tunnel, transporting the two girls into another world. As Miki awakens, she sees wolf-faced warriors abduct her friend — apparently to kidnap the girl with the bell, but taking the wrong girl. Miki tries to follow the strange monsters, to save her friend, but fails — trapped in a world of monsters and madmen, who plot the downfall of Earth. The only power that can possibly save her (and the world) is that of the mysterious Mask of Zeguy. Miki must embark on a life-threatening quest for this talisman, with the villains in hot pursuit!

Shinjuku, 1979. A member of the Kaeda Yakuza gang, Akutsu Shouji, has lost in a brawl with a university cheering squad, and begs for forgiveness through bitter tears. After the 'Incident at Honnoji' (assassination of Oda Nobunaga by Akechi Mitsuhide, a former trusted general), a group of Tokugawa samurai are rescued by a youth named Yagyu Munenori (2nd son of Yagyu Sekishusai from Yamato) and Kizaru (a Ninja), as they are chased by a bloodthirsty group of samurai. Tokugawa Ieyasu, the lord of his clan, then lave a very special gift to Munenori; a samurai's pillbox, (a veritable work of art, with beautiful lacquered designs) which signifies that he is to be hired by the Tokugawa Clan when he grows up. As a result of the assassination, Toyotomi Hideyoshi became the sole ruler of Japan, and confiscated the Yagyu lands since they had sided with the traitorous Akechi. The Yagyu Clan was considerably weakened, and all but disappeared during Hideyoshi's reign as 'Taiko'.
