American Gangster

The "war to end all wars" was over, but a new one was just beginning - on the streets of America. In one big city alone - Chicago - an estimated 1,300 gangs had spread like a deadly virus by the mid-1920s. By 1926, more than 12,000 murders were taking place every year across America. With the bootlegging and speakeasies the "Roaring Twenties" also saw bank robbery, kidnapping, auto theft, gambling, and drug trafficking become increasingly common crimes. Some gangsters, perhaps most notably Al Capone, have become infamous. 2003 marks the 50th anniversary of the death of Al Capone. Capone went on to leave a lasting impression on western culture - the American Gangster.

The Bob Clampett Show

The Bob Clampett Show is an animation anthology television program which ran from 2000 to 2001. Produced by the Cartoon Network, it features animated theatrical shorts from the Warner Bros. library that were animated or directed by Bob Clampett, as well as a selection of shorts from the Beany and Cecil animated television series. It originally aired on Cartoon Network and was later added to Adult Swim programming block due to the films being shown uncut, but only aired for a short time. Twenty-six episodes were made in all. This is the only animated anthology show on Cartoon Network that aired uncut versions of Clampett cartoons that were typically censored on CN and cartoons that hardly received airtime, such as Russian Rhapsody and Bacall to Arms. Internet Slutts

Internet Slutts is a bizarre, off-beat comedy series about a couple of twisted puppets whose lives revolve around the Internet. Set in a skanky basement apartment, Internet Slutts stars MURK, a drug-addled bicycle courier, and his best friend WALLY, a pompous, opinionated fellah who bears a striking resemblance to a two foot tall penis. Savvy net browsers, Wally and Murk head to the web whenever they need to answer a pressing question such as "Is peeing on people really a highly erotic sex act or just bad manners?" They surf when they're researching a new hobby, looking for ways to scam some quick cash, or just plain bored and in the mood to waste valuable time building a virtual cow. They also leave the apartment occasionally - to get a brand new scrotal Celtic tattoo, rent their favourite adult videos, or take a survey of movie theatre urinal techniques.

The Track

THE TRACK is a major television documentary series which tells the story of horse racing and its place in Australia's history since 1788.
