It stars Chen Meifeng, Wang Shixian, Daisy Fong, Chiang Tsu-ping, Jimmy Ni, and June Tsai. The show has five theme songs including Wu Bai & China Blue's 1995 hit "Love You Ten Thousand Years". The show aired in Taiwan every weeknight at prime time and had a total of 386 episodes. It subsequently aired in Malaysia on the Hokkien-language Astro Hua Hee Dai channel from 3.30pm - 4.30pm and an encore at 11.00pm - 12.00am. It started its run on 5 November 2007 and ended its run on 19 October 2010.
