Sketches were written by Walters' frequent collaborators, including Victoria Wood, Alan Bennett, Willy Russell and Alan Bleasdale. Walters portrayed new characters alongside roles she had previously been known for, including a monologue in which she appeared as Mrs Murray, her character from G.B.H, written by Bleasdale. The show was nominated for the Best Light Entertainment award at the 1992 BAFTAs.

"The Pride of the Third World" is the title of a series of 16 comedy programs broadcast on La 2 of Spanish Television between 1993 and 1994, starring the comedy duo Faemino and Cansado. The programs were recorded almost without cuts in the Galileo Galilei theater in Madrid, with a live audience, and each episode ran for less than thirty minutes. "The Pride of the Third World" largely cemented the duo's place in the hearts of Spanish audiences, despite it not being their first television appearance and none of their programs achieving high ratings.

Freestyle Session is a b-boy comepetition held every year which crown the best 3-Man crew. It is sanctioned by the Urban Dance & Educational Foundation and part of the Pro Breaking Tour and Undisputed's World BBoy Series. Originally held only in the United States, Freestyle Session is now being recognized worldwide.
