Nerds 2.0.1: A Brief History of the Internet is a 1998 three hour American PBS documentary film that explores the development of the Arpanet, the Internet, and the World Wide Web in the United States from 1969 to 1998. It was created during the dot-com boom of the late 1990s. The documentary was written and hosted by Robert X. Cringely and is the sequel to the 1996 documentary, Triumph of the Nerds.

The World of Chemistry is a television series on introductory chemistry hosted by Nobel prize-winning chemist Roald Hoffmann. The series consists of 26 half-hour video programs, along with coordinated books, which explore various topics in chemistry through experiments conducted by Stevens Point emeritus professor Don Showalter the "series demonstrator" and interviews with working chemists, it also includes physics and earth science related components. The series was produced by the University of Maryland, College Park and the Educational Film Center and was funded by the Annenberg/CPB Project, it was filmed in 1988 and first aired on PBS in 1990. This series supports science standards recognized nationally by the United States and is still widely used in high school and college chemistry courses. The entire series is currently available on learner.org for free in an online video streaming format.

Springhill was a British soap opera/drama, produced by Granada and broadcast in 1996/1997 on the Sky One satellite channel, and later on Channel 4. It consisted of 2 series, each containing 26 episodes. Set in Liverpool, Springhill based its main theme on the battle between good and evil, entwined around a complex family drama. Issues covered included adoption revelation, genetic sexual attraction, bigamy, homosexuality, infertility, surrogacy and murder. Aside from this there was a supernatural aspect, which included elements of religion, Angels, apparitions, witchcraft, time travel and the Second Coming of Christ.

The Home and Family Show is an American talk and home information show that was first shown on the Family Channel on April 1, 1996. The original hosts were Cristina Ferrare and Chuck Woolery. Woolery had to leave the show in September, 1996, to have heart surgery. He was replaced by Michael Burger.The show was an unusual chat show with many regular guest and segments. The set was housed in a small studio designed to look like a house, which was built in an out-of-the-way corner of the Universal Studios backlot. This first incarnation of the show was cancelled on August 14, 1998 due with News Corporation buying The Family Channel and turned it into Fox Family Channel.

Radio Roo was a children's television programme which featured the adventures of Dennis and Clive, who run a radio station, Radio Roo, based in England that Clive inherited. The show ran for a total of 31 episodes from 1991 to 1993 on the BBC. All episodes were written by Wayne Jackman, who starred as Dennis. The broad Australian accent of Clive the Kangaroo was provided by Ian Tregonning.

The Tromaville Cafe was a television program broadcast by the BBC in the United Kingdom from 1997–2000 that would regularly showcase classic Troma films. Episodes of the show have appeared on numerous DVD releases from Troma and is one of the most sought out television shows in their library. The episodes were known for their cheap quality and off-colour humour, which was and still is today rare for a television sitcom.
