El Privilegio de Mandar was a successful Mexican political parody broadcast by Televisa on Canal de las Estrellas. It started as a sketch on another Televisa show, called La Parodia, that parodies political, social and cultural events happening in Mexico. High ratings kept the show running. It was first broadcast on October 25, 2004, during La Parodia. Soon, the high success of the program encouraged the producers to separate it from the other show, so on January 3, 2005, it became an independent show. Televisa broadcast what is considered the last episode of the series on July 9, 2006, just after the federal elections in Mexico. However, some of the actors who performed leading roles stated that in a few years, when political events have advanced, they will make a return to see how things are.

Los Luchadores is a Canadian-American live-action children's television series that played as part of the Fox Kids programming block in 2001 produced by Saban Entertainment and Shavick Entertainment. The series was about a group of lucha libre wrestlers led by Lobo Fuerte who, along with Turbine and Maria Valentine, fought villains such as the Whelp, the pet Chihuahua of a mad scientist who eventually becomes an evil genius through a freak accident. The series title is translated as "The Wrestlers" or "The Fighters" from Spanish. Los Luchadores were the defenders of Union City. It was their job to protect Union City from a slew of different enemies and the bumbling antics of Mayor Potts who truly meant to do only good for Union City, things just seemed to always take a turn for the worse.

It's A Big Big World is an American children's television show on PBS Kids, that debuted January 2, 2006. It was originally part of Miss Lori and Hooper's schedule block, but it was replaced in that block on September 3, 2007, though it still airs as part of most stations' PBS Kids lineup. The show revolves around a group of animals living in the rainforest. The main character is Snook the sloth. It is taped at Wainscott Studios at the East Hampton Airport industrial complex in Wainscott, New York.

Island at War is a British television series that tells the story of the German Occupation of the Channel Islands. It primarily focuses on three local families: the upper class Dorrs, the middle class Mahys and the working class Jonases, and four German officers. The fictional island of St. Gregory serves as a stand-in for the real-life islands Jersey and Guernsey, and the story is compiled from the events on both islands. Produced by Granada Television in Manchester, Island at War had an estimated budget of £9,000,000 and was filmed on location in the Isle of Man from August 2003 to October 2003. American Hot Rod is a reality television series that originally aired between 2004 and 2008 on The Learning Channel and Discovery Channel. The unique series documented the crew at Boyd Coddington's car shop and their personal struggles to build hot rods and custom vehicles. It was made on location at Coddington's hot rod and wheel shop in La Habra, California. Many employees went to work for Overhaulin's Chip Foose, a former partner of Coddington, for a more relaxed environment. Custom built cars built during the series included the "Alumatub", 61 Impala Bubbletop, 63 Chevy Corvette Stingray and a 42 Woodie. In July 2007, the shop made an Elvis Tribute Car, a modified 1957 pink Cadillac, sponsored by Reese’s. Boyd Coddington died in February 2008. His shop closed its doors for the final time on Friday June 20, 2008.

truTV Presents: World's Dumbest... is a cable television series produced by Meetinghouse Productions, Inc. and is airing on truTV. Originally known as World's Dumbest Criminals, it is a weekly countdown that takes a comedic look at 20 half-witted and offbeat events caught on camera and sometimes by 911 dispatchers. These events are now broken down into topics such as Criminals, Drivers, Daredevils, Partiers, etc. and features commentary from B to C-list comedians and writers such as Jared Logan, Chris Fairbanks, Kevin McCaffrey, Jaime Andrews, Brendon Walsh, Ted Jessup, Brad Loekle, Daisy Gardner, Billy Kimball, Mike Trainor, John Enos, Jamie Lee, Rachel Feinstein, Mike O'Gorman, Amanda Landry, and Gilbert Gottfried. Because the series' original focus was on criminals bungling their acts of crime, commentary used to rely heavily on celebrities who have been known for their own past brushes with the law, including Danny Bonaduce, Leif Garrett, Tonya Harding, Todd Bridges, Daniel Baldwin, and Gary Busey. Often times, and when video clips have no audio track, sound effects and mock commentators are added to enhance the humor of the events.

Extreme Makeover

Extreme Makeover is a television program from ABC in which individuals volunteered to receive an extensive makeover in Hollywood. The show was created by television producer Howard Schultz. It first aired as a television special. It began airing in 2002 on Thursday nights at 8pm. A total of 55 episodes were produced. The show's first surgeon was Dr. Garth Fisher of Beverly Hills, California; after the pilot show the first six shows included Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Jon A. Perlman, M.D. FACS, Dr. Malcolm Lesavoy and Dr. Harvey Zarem as part of the original "Extreme Team," along with Dr. Bill Dorfman and Dr. Robert Maloney. Other doctors were selected for the next three years in addition to the above. Borrowing heavily from the reality television genre, the show depicts ordinary men and women undergoing "extreme makeovers" involving plastic surgery, exercise regimens, hairdressing and wardrobing. Each episode ends with the participants' return to their families and friends, showing the reactions of their loved ones, who have not been allowed to see the incremental changes during the participants' absence. Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, which debuted in 2003, is a spin-off of Extreme Makeover. The home edition ended up becoming far more successful than the plastic surgery edition. Extreme Makeover: Wedding Edition was also piloted as a one-time special, but did not achieve sufficient ratings to be made into a series.

Hero of Jingwu: Chen Zhen

Following the 1911 Xinhai Revolution that overthrew the Qing dynasty, China entered a period of turmoil, with drastic political changes and the start of the Warlord Era. Chen Zhen has been hiding in Foshan until he receives a message and decides to return to Shanghai. Upon his return, Chen sees that a brothel now stands on the old location of Jingwu School. Apart from having to shoulder the heavy responsibilities of rebuilding Jingwu and raising Huo Yuan Jia's orphaned son, Huo Dong Jue, Chen runs into trouble with the gangs and has to hide from the police.
