The Future Is Wild

The Future is Wild is an animated children's version of Canadian 2003 joint Animal Planet/ORF and ZDF co-production The Future Is Wild. It was developed by Nelvana Animation, and directed by Mike Fallows, with characters and creatures designed by Brett Jubinville. It is made in CGI animation. The show is a Teletoon Original Production and first aired on Teletoon on June 28, 2010; it made its debut in the US on Discovery Kids on October 13, 2007. It now airs weekday mornings on The Hub. It features four teenagers who study the future of the earth to find a new habitat for humanity, while learning about the futuristic creatures who inhabit it. The show ran for one 26 episode season. It utilizes creatures speculated about in a the original version of The Future Is Wild, albeit with highly fictionalized elements.

It could usually be seen every night at 8:00 p.m. Tehran time on Tehran TV, also known as Channel 5 in Iran. Later due to the popularity of the show, episodes were shown in syndication on various Iranian provincial channels as well as IRIB 1 & IRIB 2 for those living out of the country. The show stopped airing in March 2003. It was directed by Mehran Modiri.

It revolves around two small-time cannabis dealers, Lee and Sticky, and their customers. Sticky fancies himself to be the next Richard Branson, while Lee aspires to be the Kriss Payne of 'Super Pot'. In this first of many cases, Kindaichi finds himself onboard a cruise ship in which the captain mysteriously disappears the day after a big party. A search of the ship finds nothing, except for little drops of blood on the light switch in the captain’s room. Might it be a clue perhaps? You bet! When what looks to be a case of serious foul play unfolds, the ship’s radio is found disabled—somuch for contacting the authorities. So, far out at sea until they can reach land, it’s up to Kindaichi and friends to find the killer…and stay alive!

New Zealand's Next Top Model is a New Zealand reality television series in which a number of young women compete for the title of New Zealand's Next Top Model and the chance to start their career in the modeling industry. The show's format was originally created by American talk-show host and model Tyra Banks. The New Zealand series is hosted by former model and 62 Models Management founder Sara Tetro, and airs on TV3 NZ. The winner of NZNTM wins a modelling contract with Sara's agency. Like its American counterpart, NZNTM features a photographer and international model on its judging panel, Chris Sisarich and Colin Mathura-Jeffree, respectively. Mathura-Jeffree also acts as runway coach to the girls, much like Miss Jay on America's Next Top Model.
