Lateline is an Australian television news and current affairs program produced by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, airing weeknights at 10:30 pm on ABC1. The program has developed a reputation for head-to-head debates on current issues and political interviews. Lateline is followed by its sister programme The Business, which commenced on 14 August 2006. It has been labelled by the influential Crikey magazine as being, "an unmissable current affairs program that almost certainly creates more headlines in the next day's newspapers than any other TV show in the country." During the summer season, an ABC Late News update is shown in place of Lateline.

Mark Kistler's Imagination Station is a public television series where Mark Kistler taught children – and adults – to draw using techniques such as perspective and shading. The PBS version of the program was originally presented by TV station KIXE in the Redding and Chico areas of the U.S. state of California. Mark Kistler additionally released some publications teaching techniques used in the show. It had a short reprise later in the 1990s but did not continue to run past a few episodes. The show released 131 episodes, from 1993 to 2009. The French actor Diane Stolojan, Alain Leverrier, Henri Allan Veillet and Gilles Marchais occur in scenes that reflect everyday situations in a humorous way. Anouk Charlier announces the exercises and comments on the films of the French culture and history in German. The title song is the Faust Waltz from the opera Faust by Charles Gounod.

Her parents start working abroad and therefore, she has to live with her grandparents (who are the landlord and landlady of a big house) and begin going to a new school, where everybody teases her, because she is so odd and doesn't want to make friends with anyone. There is also another odd person who is teased in the class, Sigge, who is a Polish immigrant. When a bird gets hurt and Sigge takes care of it, Allis wants to help him somewhat. And after she let Sigge into the big house where she lives, nothing becomes the same and things start to happen, both in the house and in Allis's heart.

You Wrote It, You Watch It is a short-lived MTV sketch comedy series starring members of The State comedy troupe before they were given their own show by the network. It was hosted by Jon Stewart, future host of The Daily Show. The comedians performed humorous sketch recreations of letters sent to the MTV offices by viewers, depicting outrageous stories and events from their daily lives, with introductions by Stewart. An early example of crowdsourcing, the show only lasted one season, premiering in 1992 and being canceled in 1993. Jon Stewart would later quip, "You wrote it, you just didn't watch it!"
