Heartland was an Australian television drama series that ran on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in 1994. It ran for thirteen episodes and starred Cate Blanchett and Ernie Dingo. The show was also known as Burned Bridge in some countries. Heartland deals with the mystery surrounding the death of an Aboriginal girl and the doubts concerning the guilt of her boyfriend, who is arrested for her murder. It is also a love story between two of the people convinced of his innocence—their growing relationship must survive hostility from both the white and black communities and the obstacles of their different backgrounds, attitudes and cultures. Set in a small coastal town against the turmoils of murder, mystery and romance, Heartland follows the people from this seaside community and their battle to restructure their own way of life. Their struggle to restore their self-esteem towards a positive future, despite the obstacles in their path. Other plot elements revolve around the character of Elizabeth Ashton, a writer arriving in a small coastal community. A degree of suspicion exists towards the newcomer who is ignorant of any underlying racial tensions. This naivety allows her to more easily befriend local Aborigine Vincent Burunga. Into this mix is the local police officer Phil McCarthy who seeks Ashton's affections whilst being hostile to her friendship with Burunga, not just as a rival suitor, but because of racial prejudice.

Whimsical tales of the Tollit family, who live in the picturesque Northern town of Sutton Moor. The husband, Len, is a soft-hearted, well-meaning chap who holds strong views on certain subjects and is fiercely proud of his working-class roots. But his determination to prove himself the equal of those who may consider themselves his betters often leads to confrontation and infuriates his wife, Pat. They have two children, the pre-teen Sean and the sexually-maturing Siobhan, who, at 15, is at that 'awkward age'. Living in the granny flat in their yard is Mr Bebbington, who had been Len's late mother's boyfriend but has remained with them for six months since her death. Pat constantly cajoles Len into getting Bebbington out but he is quite content to let him stay and treats him as one of the family. Len's brother, Morris, who lives nearby, is a spiritual man who comes across as half-hippy and half-witted.

"Ha-Comedy Store" was an Israeli entertainment program which was broadcast on the Israeli Channel 2 between the years 1994-1996. In its prime it starred Tzvika Hadar, Assaf Ashtar, Ruby Duenyas, Gil Sassover and Itai Segev. The show scheduled weekly consisted different short non-sense styled skits including recurring nooks, such as "JoJo Ticked-Off" and "Jacques' Bulletin" and music segments which were mostly parodies of famous Israeli songs. During the first seasons, the show won a great success, and coined a number of unique expressions to the Hebrew language such as "Laflaf", "Khalastra". The character which is mostly remembered and identified with the show is apparently Jojo Halastra, played by Tzvika Hadar, which was a parody on the Israeli Ars. In 1995 a "Ha-Comedy Store" album was released containing all of the most popular songs and skits. After the third season the shows' popularity descended after some of the actors left the show.
