The Jon Stewart Show was a late night talk show hosted by comedian Jon Stewart. The program premiered on MTV in 1993 as a thirty-minute daily program. At the end of its first season, MTV's then-corporate sibling Paramount Television retooled the program, extended it to sixty minutes, and used it as a replacement for the cancelled Arsenio Hall Show for the 1994-95 television season. While it garnered high ratings on MTV, in fact becoming its second most popular show behind Beavis and Butt-Head, The Jon Stewart Show was not a success in syndication and was cancelled in 1995.

Viva Cabaret is a late night comedy variety television show that aired on Channel 4 in the United Kingdom from 14 April 1993 to 24 June 1994. The series was filmed in a sound stage in West London, with the set designed to resemble a cabaret club. The programme's house band included drummer Ray Weston (of Wishbone Ash) and members of Pink Floyd's touring band. The first episode, which debuted on 14 April 1993, was hosted by Tom Jones. Subsequent hosts included Julian Clary, Mark Lamarr, Mike McShane, Jools Holland, Mark Thomas, Eartha Kitt, Paul O'Grady as Lily Savage, and Lee Evans. Competition for slots on the show was intense, with many stars of the British alternative comedy circuit hoping to make an appearance. In addition to the show's British stars, regular international guests included Americans Greg Proops and Sandra Bernhard, and Australia's Doug Anthony All Stars.

Speaking our Language was a Scottish Gaelic learners television programme that ran from 1993 to 1996. Running for 72 episodes through four series, the series was produced by Scottish Television and presented by Rhoda MacDonald, STV's then-head of Gaelic output. It was frequently repeated on TeleG and is now repeated on BBC Alba, and all four series have been released on DVD. Allis and Ann are best friends. But one day, when the girls are about twelve years old, Ann is killed in a road accident, and Allis becomes very cold inside and doesn't want any new friends. Her parents start working abroad and therefore, she has to live with her grandparents (who are the landlord and landlady of a big house) and begin going to a new school, where everybody teases her, because she is so odd and doesn't want to make friends with anyone. There is also another odd person who is teased in the class, Sigge, who is a Polish immigrant. When a bird gets hurt and Sigge takes care of it, Allis wants to help him somewhat. And after she let Sigge into the big house where she lives, nothing becomes the same and things start to happen, both in the house and in Allis's heart.

He tells them to have a clear image of a great looking gigantic robot; if they do, something should happen...

Amon challenges the team captain Leon to a soccer battle and, when Amon loses, Leon turns him into a miniature dragon. Tokio sees the fight and decides to challenge against Leon so that Amon can become human again.

The Chevy Chase Show was an American late night talk show hosted by actor, comedian and Saturday Night Live alumnus Chevy Chase that aired in 1993 on Fox. The series was canceled after just five weeks on the air.

This is the story of the captain of a deep-sea trawler. Drawing on Roger Nowell's long family involvement in the Cornish fishing industry and his own lifetime of experience, the series provides viewers with an account of dramas at sea and at home, with stories both humorous and horrifying. Roger tells of the time he brought up a Ford Escort in his fishing net, and the day a gorilla appeared on his boat. He also reveals his involvement in major sea tragedies such as the wreck of the "Torrey Canyon" oil tanker and the Penlee lifeboat disaster, in which he lost several friends. Roger's beliefs and ideas are often not those which are normally associated with the tough fisherman image. Conservation of the seas and the fish within it is high on his list of priorities, and his belief in the white occult is reflected in day-to-day actions as he faces the dangers and uncertainties of the sea.

Music performances, interviews and comedy were featured in this daily series, which replaced `Nashville Now' in October 1993 when host Ralph Emery retired. The 90-minute program had some of country's top names, including Waylon Jennings, Vince Gill, Trisha Yearwood, Tanya Tucker, Toby Keith, Tim McGraw, the Dixie Chicks, Reba McEntire, Loretta Lynn, Willie Nelson, Garth Brooks, Faith Hill, Billy Ray Cyrus, Barbara Mandrell and Dolly Parton.
