Türkisch für Anfänger is a critically acclaimed German television comedy-drama series, which premiered on March 14, 2006 on Das Erste. It was created by Bora Dağtekin and produced by Hoffmann & Voges Ent. The show focuses on the German-Turkish stepfamily Schneider-Öztürk, their everyday lives and particularly on the eldest daughter Lena, who narrates the show. During the show's run of 52 episodes, topics covered included both typical problems of teenagers and cross-cultural experiences. Due to popular demand, the crew shot a third season consisting of 16 episodes, which were aired in Fall 2008. The show was also successful on foreign markets and got sold to and broadcast in more than 70 countries.

Something Special is a children's television programme produced and broadcast by the BBC. The producer is Allan Johnston who worked as a teacher of children with special needs before joining the BBC in 1989. It is designed to introduce children to Makaton signing, and is specifically aimed at children with delayed learning and communication difficulties. It is aired on the CBeebies channel and in the past was also broadcast as part of the CBeebies programme strand on BBC One and BBC Two). The name of the programme derives from the idea that all children, irrespective of their position on the learning spectrum, are special. Other members of the Tumble family to have made appearances include two Aunts - Polly and Suki, Lord Tumble and King Tumble.

The subject of the first series was the production of a soap called Echo Beach, each episode of which aired directly after the Moving Wallpaper episode about its production. The second series was based around the production of a "zombie show" called Renaissance. Ben Miller confirmed in May 2009 on his Twitter account that no further series will be made. The title, "Moving Wallpaper", is a disparaging term applied to uninspiring TV shows, or to television in general, referring to the perception that modern television viewers are "mindless absorbers of images", as if staring at wallpaper.

Huntik: Secrets & Seekers is an Italian/American animated television series, begun in 2009, created and directed by Iginio Straffi. It was a co-production between Big Bocca Productions, a company owned by Richard McWilliam, CEO and owner of Upper Deck and Rainbow S.p.A. It acts like one of the spin-offs to the Winx Club series. All of the show's designs, animation and visual style were created in Italy, while the scriptwriting and original voice recording were done in the United States. It aired on The CW4Kids at 11:30am Eastern Standard Time on Saturdays. In Europe, the series used to air on Disney XD, and on CITV. In India, the series' first season aired on Disney XD in 2010. The series premiered on January 3, 2009, with one episode in the US and the first four episodes in Europe, making Jetix the home for premieres beyond the first episode. It was revealed in a magazine with the new season of the Winx Club, that the second season of Huntik would air in fall 2012 in the US. However, the second season began airing in the spring of 2012 in UK on CITV & Australia on channel eleven. The first season was released on DVD by Anime Works in 2010.
