The Home and Family Show is an American talk and home information show that was first shown on the Family Channel on April 1, 1996. The original hosts were Cristina Ferrare and Chuck Woolery. Woolery had to leave the show in September, 1996, to have heart surgery. He was replaced by Michael Burger.The show was an unusual chat show with many regular guest and segments. The set was housed in a small studio designed to look like a house, which was built in an out-of-the-way corner of the Universal Studios backlot. This first incarnation of the show was cancelled on August 14, 1998 due with News Corporation buying The Family Channel and turned it into Fox Family Channel.

This series of shorts used a universal language; that is, no words from any specific language were spoken, but the characters occasionally uttered a word or two in English, such as "OK." This made the series understandable to a wide audience.

Kassai and Leuk is a children's television series by Marathon Media Group. This short-lived animation series was based on African stories. The three protagonists are the young man Kassai, his sidekick Leuk, a talking humanoid hare who knows the jungle well, and Princess Marana, who is cursed to transform into a gazelle during the day. In the series, Kassai goes on various quests to find the scattered parts of his tribe's patron goddess, Koorie, and tries to stop the plans of the evil god Toguum, who can possess people to do his bidding. Boogie Woogie was an Indian Television dance show that aired on Sony Entertainment Television. Debuting in 1995, the show is hosted by Indian film and television personalities, Naved Jaffrey and Ravi Behl, who are also the producers and creators of the show. Javed Jaffrey appears as the permanent celebrity judge. The show was relaunched by Sony Entertainment Television in 2003. It has become the longest lasting dance show in India.

A Thousand and One... Americas is an animated television series originally produced from 1989 to 1991 in Spain by BRB Internacional to celebrate the 5th centenary of Christopher Columbus' voyage to America. The series focuses on the adventures of Chris, a 10 year old boy, and his yellowish dog Lon. Chris accidentally discovers an old book at the attic which belonged to his grandfather, which he brought with him from his journeys. The book makes him and his dog drift through imagination to historical occurrences of different nations which lived in America before it was discovered by Columbus in 1492. The series has been dubbed and subtitled in English, Spanish, Serbian and Hebrew.

Bob Payne (Gary Olsen) used to work as a 'roadie' for a rock band. He decided to buy a roadside cafe called Pilgrim's Restaurant. It looked like a good investment with a healthy turnover. Bob bought the restaurant with the help of a loan from his sister Tilly (Gwen Taylor), who's married to a wealthy businessman. A year later, a new by-pass opened and most of the 'passing trade' disappeared. Turnover dropped dramatically and Bob was left to scrape a living by catering for a small band of regular customers. Then Tilly's husband left her and she needed somewhere else to live, so she moved in with her brother.
