The Amazing Race Asia is a reality game show based on the American series The Amazing Race. On 17 October 2005, CBS gave other countries the chance to franchise The Amazing Race. The Asian cable TV network AXN Asia was among the first to acquire the rights to produce a version for its territories. The show is produced by Australian television production company ActiveTV, for AXN, in association with Buena Vista International Television-Asia Pacific. The host for the show is Singapore based Chinese-American actor Allan Wu. The ultimate prize is US$100,000, whilst the American show gives away US$1,000,000. The general manager of SPE Networks-Asia which runs AXN, Ricky Ow explained the smaller prize, saying, "It is not really about the money but the adventure and opportunity to be in one of the world's greatest reality shows".

While a hit in Argentina, because of lower ratings in Spain it was taken out of the prime-time slot to 1.00 in morning, and was eventually cancelled due to downloading of series from the internet. Despite a campaign of support to continue into a second series it only produced 13 episodes. Despite this the series was a hit in DVD sellings.

The story follows the lives of the eponymous dog Wilfred, his owner Sarah, and her boyfriend Adam, who sees Wilfred as a man in a dog suit. Two seasons were broadcast on SBS One – the first in 2007 and the second in 2010. The series won three AFI Awards and was nominated for a Logie. Independent Film Channel acquired the international broadcast rights to the original two seasons of Wilfred in 2010. A U.S. version premiered on the cable channel FX on 23 June 2011.

Heroes and Villains was a 2007-2008 BBC Television docudrama series looking at key moments in the lives and reputations of some of the greatest warriors of history. Each hour long episode featured a different historical figure, including Napoleon I of France, Attila the Hun, Spartacus, Hernán Cortés, Richard I of England, and Tokugawa Ieyasu. Get Ed is an American-Canadian computer-animated television series which debuted in 2005 that aired as a part of the Jetix programming block on the United States cable television network Toon Disney until the channel closed in 2009, and also used to run on the ABC Family channel before they switched over to a non-animated format. As of 2009, re-runs air on Toon Disney's successor, Disney XD. It was Jetix's second original show.

Go! Go! Itsutsugo Land is a Japanese anime series that originally aired in Japan during 2001 and 2002 on TBS. The series has been dubbed into English and aired in New Zealand as Let's Go Quintuplets!. In the Netherlands the series has been broadcast Jetix starting from 2005, under the title Bende van Vijf. In the Netherlands the show is more popular than in Japan and the United States. The series is about five quintuplets, Kabuto, Hinoki, Arashi, Kinoko and Kodama Morino, who have all kinds of adventures together. The series totals 50 episodes, each one consisting of 1 to 2 parts. The name Go! Go! Itsutsugo has a double meaning. Go is, apart from the English word, also Japanese for "five". Itsutsugo means quintuplet.
