The series offers an entertaining way for children to learn about social interaction and behavior while following the adventures of Hello Kitty. Hello Kitty establishes a new image, giving children more things to learn from, rather than just being sweet and cute.

Taiwan 1895 is a Chinese television series based on historical events that took place in Taiwan during the late Qing Dynasty, such as the 1884-1885 Sino–French War and the Treaty of Shimonoseki. The series was directed by Han Gang and written by Yang Xiaoxiong. It was first broadcast in mainland China on CCTV in 2008.

Lovingly brought to life in this beautifully animated series, Aesop is a friendly wolf who writes and directs plays for a travelling theatre group. Among the members of his company are a would-be writer fox, some mischievous pigs and a tough little rabbit. Mal Sun, who lost an eye after being hit by an abusive husband during her younger years, lived alone for the fun of raising her children and is now celebrating her 60th birthday. Because of a dream of money she had the night before, she bought her own lottery ticket as a joke, and she won second place. However, even when she has money, she has a lot of urgent needs to spend it. Her eldest daughter is in urgent need of business, her son is demanding overseas medical expenses for a developmentally disabled grandchild, and her youngest daughter is demanding funds for her wedding, leading to a fight. Meanwhile, her husband, Il Nam, whom she had not heard from for 20 years, suddenly visits her and causes trouble in her flatland.
