Bon Courage was a German educational television series produced by Bayerischer Rundfunk, teaching French as a foreign or second language to German viewers. Sunnyside Farm is the title of a 1997 BBC comedy television series. The basic plot was that brothers Ray and Ken Sunnyside inherited the failing Sunnyside Farm. Ray, played by Phil Daniels, is a truly repulsive individual, and intends to get his brother committed to a mental institution so he can sell the farm and blow the proceeds on the high life; Ken, while not the sharpest pencil in the box at least has a few redeeming characteristics. Seema Kapoor played the character of Savi for the first 99 episodes. She was then replaced by Shefali Chhaya, whose her work earned her the Zee Woman of the Year award in 1997.

Filmed in 1995, Connolly takes the viewer on a scenic and informative tour of Australia, intercut with scenes from his stand-up comedy act at various venues around the country. The tour takes in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Darwin, Alice Springs and Fraser Island. On the way, Connolly also experiences and demonstrates several Australian customs, traditions, and attractions, including swimming with the dolphins in Perth, eating a pie floater in Adelaide, and several museums and galleries, most of which feature some form of Aboriginal art.
