A Girl's Guide to 21st Century Sex is a documentary TV series about sex, which ran in eight episodes on Channel 5 and was presented by Dr Catherine Hood. The 45-minute long episodes were broadcast on Monday nights. The series started on 30 October 2006, with the final programme broadcast on 18 December 2006. Each episode explained a sex position and covered a sexually transmitted disease. Lost Worlds is a documentary television series by The History Channel that explores a variety of "lost" locations from ancient to modern times. These "great feats of engineering, technology, and culture" are revealed through the use of archaeological evidence, interviews with relevant experts while examining the sites, and CGI reproductions. These visual re-creations take the form of rendered 3D environments and photo manipulated overlays, allowing the "lost world" to be seen over its present-day state. Torchwood Declassified is a documentary series created by the British Broadcasting Corporation to complement the British science fiction television series Torchwood. Each episode is broadcast on the same evening as the broadcast of the weekly television episode. A second series of Declassified aired alongside the second series of Torchwood. Continuing the tradition of its parent, Doctor Who Confidential, Torchwood Declassified covers themes presented in the just-broadcast episode, as well as providing behind-the-scenes access and footage. Each episode is ten minutes long, compared to Confidential's 30-45 minute length. Following transmission, the episodes were all available for viewing on the BBC's Torchwood website, but were later removed from the site after the end of the first series. In late October 2011, a production team was shooting in Provincetown, Massachusetts, America's oldest art colony, at the tip of Cape Cod.

It's Not Easy Being Green is a television series on BBC Two starring Dick Strawbridge and focusing on how to live an environmentally friendly, low impact life. To date there have been three series. Series one followed former Lieutenant-Colonel Dick Strawbridge, his wife Brigit, son James, and daughter Charlotte as they moved into Newhouse Farm, a 400-year-old listed building in Cornwall, England from Malvern, Worcestershire. The series documented the family's attempts to convert the building and garden into a comfortable yet entirely ecologically friendly place to live. The show was perhaps unique in that the family did not want great sacrifices in achieving their goal, and Dick Strawbridge said "I don't want to wear a hemp shirt and hairy knickers, I want a 21st-century lifestyle with a coffee machine". In the first series they received advice from permaculture expert Patrick Whitefield and green auditor Donnachadh McCarthy. They were also helped by friends Jim Milner and Anda Phillips as well as at points a small army of friends and relatives. A book entitled ‘It's Not Easy Being Green: One Family's Journey Towards Eco-Friendly Living’ ISBN 0-563-49346-1 by Dick Strawbridge was released to accompany the series and is still available to buy.

Francesco's Italy: Top to Toe was a four-part BBC television series hosted by Francesco da Mosto and originally shown on BBC2 from 18 June to 2 July 2006. In the series, da Mosto drives his Alfa Romeo Spider the length of Italy, from North to South, exploring the architecture and traditions in different regions. This series was rebroadcast by The Travel Channel in January 2007 and repeated on BBC2 in May 2007 and BBC Four in October-November 2007. The series was rebroadcast in Canada on the Knowledge channel during July and August 2011. During Episode 1, "The Romantic North", da Mosto left his native Venice and his family, and visited the Fiat Factory in Turin, Romeo and Juliet's balcony in Verona and the city of Milan. During Episode 2, "The Garden of Italy", da Mosto visited a 19th century reproduction of Michaelangelo's David in Florence, the city of Siena and the town of Assisi. In Episode 3, entitled "The Heart of Italy" da Mosto visited the Trevi Fountain, explores Italians love/hate relationship with Mussolini, visiting the city of Sabaudia, Rome and Naples, its underground secrets and the beautiful Chapel of St. Severo. In the fourth episode, "The Land of My Mother", da Mosto travelled to Sicily where he climbed to the summit of Mount Etna, visited the Trulli buildings and explored the Capuchin catacombs of Palermo with its array of mummified bodies – before being reunited with his family at last.

The Real Football Factories is a documentary series shown on the Bravo TV channel in the UK and created by Zig Zag Productions. The show looks at the in-depth life of football hooligans and hooligan firms. Interviews are conducted with past and present hooligans. The presenter of the show, Danny Dyer, also starred in the film The Football Factory. During the series Dyer visits Yorkshire, Scotland, The Midlands, North West England and London to meet up with and interview hooligans. On 25 May 2007 Bravo broadcast a new show, The Real Football Factories International, which looks at football firms worldwide. In September 2007 Virgin Media released a spoof version of the show starring comedian Terry Alderton as Danny Dire.

So far in two series and 6 programmes, the show has investigated the theories surrounding the September 11 attacks, the Pan Am Flight 103 bomb, the Oklahoma City bombing, the 7 July 2005 London bombings and the deaths of David Kelly and Diana, Princess of Wales.

Ross Kemp on Gangs is a BAFTA award-winning documentary series that was broadcast on Sky1 from 16 October 2006 to 22 September 2008. On 20 May 2007 the series won a BAFTA award for best factual series. The show is hosted by actor Ross Kemp, best known for his role of Grant Mitchell in the show EastEnders where Kemp's character was involved in several storylines involving gangs. On the show Kemp travels around the world talking to gang members, locals who have been affected by gang violence, and the authorities who are attempting to combat the problem. In each episode he attempts to establish contacts within the gangs who can arrange interviews with the gangs' leaders.

Extreme Dreams is a reality TV programme made by the independent British production company Ricochet and hosted by Ben Fogle. The premise behind the show is that deserving individuals are taken to unfamiliar and extreme environments and given the opportunity to participate in an adventure beyond their wildest dreams. Participants are typically seeking a life-changing experience: a boost to improve their health, build their confidence, mend relationships or overcome past difficulties. For each programme four different teams are selected by a small panel comprising adventurers and a psychologist as well as Ben Fogle himself. Vroom Vroom was a British television series. shown on Sky One. The presenters were Brendan Coogan, Jon Desborough, Lisa Rogers, and Emma Parker Bowles. Each show ran for one hour, and featured a varied mix of segments, from test drives to banger racing and tips for buying and selling cars. Each episode included a regular strand presented by Emma Parker Bowles who turns her hand to banger, lawn mower and mini-auto grass racing. Other contributors included segments by Bruno Senna, nephew of late Grand Prix driver Ayrton Senna and professional test driver Duncan Gray. For the second seires of the show, it had some new segments. Brendan Coogan's 'Test Drive' section was changed, instead of the car being put through various tests, it was subjected to an unusual test - such as the Audi Q7 was navigated through various courses, but driven by children. Another long running segment was run at Santa Pod to make a 1992 Mk 3 Vauxhall Astra 1.6 estate go faster via a weekly modification costing less than £150. Solutions included a performance air filter, exhaust, and stripping weight out of the car. Another weekly regular segment was "The Cat & Mouse Challenge" where celebrities had to evade a 4.2L Jaguar driven by one of the country's top drivers, Steve "Cecil" Anscombe.

Ocean Odyssey is a two-part, two-hour television programme produced for the BBC by the production company Impossible Pictures. It follows the life of a bull Sperm whale from his first deep dive until his death, stranded on a beach. Unlike most Impossible Pictures productions, it uses CGI to recreate currently living rather than extinct creatures. Also, most of the backgrounds are CG as well.

The Big Idea is a gameshow that aired on Sky One in 2006. Hosted by Richard Bacon, the show aimed to find the country's best new business idea, with the public voting for the winner who would receive £100,000 to invest in their concept. Regional heats took place in Manchester and London, then in every episode three mentors introduced two of the products they backed from the regionals. Scrapheap Challenge's Dick Strawbridge would then apply some quirky product testing.
