Travelogue is an adventure tourism television series produced by China Central Television. Each episode features a host who travels with a camera crew to a new destination in China or around the globe and experiences the sights, sounds, and culture that the location has to offer. The show often takes the viewers beyond popular tourist destinations in order to give a more authentic and in depth look at local culture. Presenters often participate in the local and traditional culture wherever they go. They address the viewer directly, acting as tourists-turned-tour guides, but are also filmed interacting with locals and discovering interesting locations in unrehearsed sequences.

Wrestling Reality is a documentary television series airing on The Fight Network that follows the lives of a group of independent pro wrestlers in the Maritime provinces of Canada. The series consists of a half-hour documentary portion, as well as an hour of televised matches and shoot interviews. The sneak peek of the premiere episode was September 25, 2007, with the full series then airing in early November. The series tackles many issues that go on behind the scenes in the wrestling world including drug use, steroid use, and sex. The series gives the public a glimpse of what the lives of pro wrestlers are really like. The series was created by independent filmmaker Greg Hemmings.

Before Barenaked Ladies, Broken Social Scene and Rush rose from Toronto's music scene, there was Rompin' Ronnie Hawkins, Robbie Robertson and Gordon Lightfoot making a name for themselves on Yonge Street. This three-part documentary reveals the history of how Toronto's main drag became the leading destination for singers, musicians and music fans not only in the city but across Canada as well. It began in the mid-1950s and flourished until the early '70s, and in between such artists as David Clayton-Thomas, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Levon Helm, Led Zeppelin and Jeff Beck performed on Yonge Street. In addition to archival audio and video footage, featured interviewees include Hawkins, Robertson, Lightfoot, music producer Daniel Lanois and festival promoter John Brower.
