The first instalment was set in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture, with Tsukuda appearing as a detective at Kanazawa North Police Station. Subsequent episodes were set in Tokyo, with Tsukuda assigned to Harajuku Central Police Station within the Metropolitan Police Department.
