Don: Gokudou Suikoden

Date Bukishi is a young man whose family is the old Date-Gumi yakuza group, however, he is not an active part of the Yakuza lifestyle and focuses more on fighting and doing as he pleases. His life turns around when he ends up in prison where he meets his eventually to be most loyal friend, Hyoroken, and together they gather more loyal men to their side, eventually following in the footsteps of the Yakuza world. Conflicts erupt with the Bando-Gumi leader Muroto who is hell-bent on uniting all of the japanese Yakuza under one banner, his banner, and in his way stands the future boss of the Date-Gumi, Bukishi. Based on the same-name manga by Motomiya Hiroshi.

The ‘Terminal Station Series’ is a police drama series produced by TV Asahi and Toei, which aired intermittently on the TV Asahi network from 8 December 1990 to 22 December 2022. The protagonist, Detective Ushio, was portrayed by Shigeru Tsuyuguchi in the first four instalments and by Tsurutaro Kataoka from the fifth instalment onwards. The series was based on works by Shizuko Natsuki and Hitoshi Igarashi. It starred Teruhiko Saigo. The first instalment was set in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture, with Tsukuda appearing as a detective at Kanazawa North Police Station. Subsequent episodes were set in Tokyo, with Tsukuda assigned to Harajuku Central Police Station within the Metropolitan Police Department.
