Awfully Lawful is a 2013 Hong Kong television legal drama produced by TVB. The series revolves around four lawyers, their legal cases and their personal relationships.

Public Relation expert Heung Kwong-Nam (pun, meaning "Hong Kong men") is a renowned saviour to the single ladies in town. He is able to help many single female clients find a happy marriage by building confidence. Without charging money, he is able to find purpose in helping these women find love and themselves. Newly joined Account Officer Sing Fa-Lui (pun, meaning "unmarried woman") is hired by Mak Dik-Man as Kwong-Nam's rival. At first, she is an overly-confident girl that sees Kwong-Nam and his group (Super Senior) as lazy and good-for-nothing. But she eventually grows to see the good in Kwong-Nam and his methods and they end up falling love.

In the early years of the Republic of China, gang leader SO FEI (Wong Ho Yin), to whom the brotherly loyalty will always prevail, runs a hard labour business which encounters financial difficulties. Misconstruing that simple and honest SUNG LAI-WO (Sunny Chan) is a close relative to the TONG's family - a noble clan of Xiguan, SO FEI deliberately flatters him in order to gain profits from the new dock run by LAI-WO. Unanticipatedly LAI-WO is merely an idler of the TONG's family, and the one at the helm is actually a pre-eminent businesswoman in Guangzhou and the eldest daughter of the TONG's family – TONG NGA-WUN (Sonija Kwok)...

Aiming to become the best tour guide in the industry, Ng Ka-yee sets up a travel agency with his girlfriend Szema Shuk-ching but he goes bankrupt and owes a huge debt after being cheated by others. To fulfill her late father's will, BIN KWAI WOR opened a special coffee shop and met BAO CHI TAI, nicknamed "Tai Chi Bao" (Raisin Bread). TAI is a single father with an 8 year old son who has an ambition to become the Hong Kong coffee king. When TAI began learning the techniques of latte art from WOR, they started having feelings for each other, but unfortunately too many troubles were in between them. The most difficult was getting through WOR's two mothers, her biological mother MA SZE NGA and her step-mother SO MEI. The mothers opposed to their relationship. Facing so many challenges in their relationship, how can TAI and WOR overcome the challenges and brew their love into an aromatic and strong cup of coffee?

Cheung Po-seng is a man with grandiose aims but puny talents, putting the seafood restaurant run by his father out of business. As Po-seng feels down-hearted, his close associate Kate Cheng, a female TV producer, remains steadfast with loyalty to him, fighting with him side-by-side all along. When a career woman Heidi Kwok returns to town to help her mother run the holiday home business, she attempts to woo the naive Po-seng to make his business go away. Before long Fei-hap finds herself falling in love with new recruit Wong Tze-tsuen, only for Yat-yat to stand in her way again. Pushed to her limits both at work and in love, Fei-hap has no choice but to fight back in the name of love.
