Doraemon is an anime TV series created by Fujiko F. Fujio and based on the manga series of the same name. This anime is the much more successful successor of the 1973 anime.

The sitcom depicts a fictional street in Hong Kong and the inhabitants of two households in the same building. The "Chen Family" lives on the first floor, comprising the landlord, his wife, their eldest son & daughter-in-law, and their youngest son. The "Xu Family" are their tenants - the father, his daughter, and a pet bird. The show reflects various facets of life in the city, such as government allowances for seniors, subway gate regulations, stock trading, theft, beggars, gambling, and daily household chores. It portrays heartwarming moments that leave viewers with a smile.

Majokko Megu-chan is a magical girl anime series. The manga was created by Tomo Inoue and Akio Narita, while the 72-episode anime series was produced by Toei Animation between 1974 and 1975. This series is considered an important forerunner of the present day magical girl genre, as the series' characterization and general structure exerted considerable influence over future shows in the same genre. Most notably, several of the show's recurring motifs were recycled in Toei's Sailor Moon, AIC's Pretty Sammy, and Wedding Peach.

The Yatterman duo and an evil trio led by the beautiful Florina engage in a struggle to obtain the Skull Stone—which is said to reveal the location of a gold mine. The trio seem to constantly have the upper hand, but are always foiled by Yatterman, who are able to stop their evil schemes.

Dororon Enma-kun, also known as Satanikus!, is a Japanese horror-comedy anime and manga series created by Go Nagai. It's one of Nagai's most famous works in Japan, although not very well known in the rest of the world. In 2006, it would get a sequel/remake in Demon Prince Enma, which drops the comedy and becomes a full-fledged suspense-horror series. After the OVA was released, another manga version was released called Satanikus ENMA Kerberos by Eiji Toriyama. A remake entitled Dororon Enma-kun MeeraMera began airing in Japan in April 2011.

Nobita Nobi is so hapless that his 22nd century decendants are still impoverished as a result of his 20th century bumbling. In a bid to raise their social status, their servant, a robotic cat named Doraemon, decides to travel back in time and guide Nobita on the proper path to fortune. Unfortunately Doraemon, a dysfunctional robot that the familly acquired by accident (but chose to keep nonetheless), isn't much better off than Nobita. The robot leads Nobita on many adventures, and while Nobita's life certainly is more exciting with the robot cat from the future, it is questionable if it is in fact better in the way that Doraemon planned.

While experimenting with his time-travel machine, Dr. Kieta becomes lost in an unknown era. So his assistant and his daughter set out in space in a time machine to search for the missing doctor. But they must also try to defeat an evil group trying to steal the precious Dinamond jewel, which possesses the only clue to the doctor's location.

Ninja Captor is a Japanese tokusatsu TV series aired from April 7, 1976 to January 26, 1977 on TV Tokyo 12 Channel, produced by Toei Company, Ltd. This Sentai-esque series aired during the run of Shotaro Ishinomori's original Super Sentai series, Himitsu Sentai Gorenger and was notably first superhero team show produced by Toei under the Saburo Yatsude/Hatte pseudonym. Daisuke Izumo graduates from the Wind-Demon Stealth-Army, a secret army aiming for the conquest of Japan. He instead escapes, and becomes the leader of the "Captor," a ninja team supervised by Mujin Tendou. The Captor team's mission is to battle the ninja sent out by the Wind-Demon General, Retsufuu Fuuma. This show used to be considered by some to be a part of the Super Sentai franchise* , but was later excluded. In 2013, it got a Shout-Out in the fourth episode of Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger: Season 2.

Benio Hanamura is a 17-year-old schoolgirl in Tokyo during the Taisho era. Benio lost her mother when she was very young and has been raised by her father, a high-ranking official in the Japanese army. As a result, she has grown into a tomboy—contrary to traditional Japanese notions of femininity, she studies kendo, drinks sake, dresses in often outlandish-looking Western fashions, and isn't as interested in housewife duties as she is in literature. She also rejects the idea of arranged marriages and believes in a woman's right to a career and to marry for love. Benio's best friends are the beautiful Tamaki, who is much more feminine than Benio but equally interested in women's rights, and Ranmaru, a young man who was raised to play female roles in the kabuki theater and as a result has acquired very effeminate mannerisms.

Hiroshi is a boy, a bit lazy in school and in his daily tasks. One day, fighting against his bullies classmates, Hiroshi accidentally fell over a frog who was jumping through Nerima, Tokyo Shakujii Park. Due to this incident, Pyonkichi, the frog, became a "flat frog" and his image and spirit get impregnated on Hiroshi's t-shirt. Due to this shirt being the only one that Hiroshi has kept in good shape, he is forced to wear it everyday, interacting with Pyonkichi and becoming friends. Pyonkichi has total control over the t-shirt, being able to move it at will, despite what Hiroshi may want.

Two lovable idiot "private detectives" (or at least, that's their cover story —more like gangsters) try to make ends meet on the mean streets of Tokyo.

If the first Bakabon series wasn't the "original", then what could Ganso Tensai Bakabon hope to achieve? Chojin Barom One (超人バロム・1 Baromu Wan), or Superhuman Barom 1 is a live-action adaptation of a Japanese manga series written by Takao Saito, produced two years after the comic was originally released. It stars Hiroyuki Takano as Gentaro Shiratori and Hiroki Izuka as Takeshi Kido, the two protagonists.

Ippatsu Kanta-kun is an anime created by Tatsunoko Production. Along with Temple the Balloonist, it was one of the last works for which Tatsunoko co-founder Tatsuo Yoshida was credited as a creator; Yoshida died before the series began airing. The series was released in two DVD box sets in January 2010.

Ganbare!! Robocon (がんばれ!!ロボコン, Ganbare!! Robokon, Do Your Best!! Robocon) is a Japanese tokusatsu comedy family robot television series created by Shotaro Ishinomori and produced by Toei. It ran from October 4, 1974, to March 25, 1977, on NET TV. Moero!! Robocon (燃えろ!!ロボコン, Moero!! Robokon, Burn!! Robocon) ran from January 31, 1999 (a week after the finale of Tetsuwan Tantei Robotack) to January 23, 2000 (a week before the premiere of Kamen Rider Kuuga). The story follows Robocon, a student of Gantz' Robot Academy who lives amongst humans and aids them as part of his studies. Though Robocon is a screw up, he makes efforts to establish a good image for robots in the eyes of humans they cross paths with. On December 10, 1999, Toei released the direct to video movie Moero!! Robocon vs. Ganbare!! Robocon (燃えろ!!ロボコンVSがんばれ!!ロボコン, Moero!! Robokon tai Ganbare!! Robokon) where the Robocon of the 90s meets the original Robocon from the 70s.

Nippon Animation presents the mid-century adventures of Lulu Moppett, a brazen young girl who loves to play with dolls just as much as she loves to get even with her frenemy Tubby Tompkins and his gang of "fellers". Adapted from the American comic series of the same name, a daily slice-of-life of little girls and little boys unfolds in a cozy small American town, with the only problems to worry about being the trouble the kids get up to!

Urobe was a son of the great chief of Pyrimi, Africa. One day he hung on an airplane and came to Japan. Because of the cold and hunger, he fell on to the yard of Shishio’s house, and Shishio nursed him. Kurobe was very thankful for him and began to repay for his kindness. Kurobe dug a big hole in the yard.Every time he returns the favor, he threw a stone into the hole until stones would fill the hole.

Nishiyama Satomi (nicknamed "Limit") is the daughter of Professor Nishiyama. One year she was mortally wounded during a plane crash. Her father was able to revive her, by making her a cyborg. As a cyborg she is gifted with “Miracle Powers” and several different accessories that aid her in solving different problems. Her red beret can be used as a radio to contact her father, and her boots have super speed. She is also able to transform with her pendant. Limit-chan also has a robot pet dog named Guu. Limit keeps her cybernetic powers a secret, as she fears being shunned by society. She keeps to herself, and sometimes keeps distance from others. Her secret is only known by her father and his assistants. In the final episode she reveals her secret to her teachers.

Mahou Tsukai Chappy or Little Witch Chappy is an anime series that debuted in Asahi Broadcasting Corporation in 1972. It is the fifth magical girl anime in history, and the fifth produced by the Toei Animation studio. While the show was fairly popular, it was not as popular as Toei's earlier magical-girl series, and is relatively obscure compared to its predecessors. In addition to its success in Japan, Chappy has been dubbed into Italian, French, and Spanish and broadcast on TV in Italy and in various Latin American nations such as Mexico, Peru, or Chile. A manga adaptation of the story was drawn by Hideo Azuma, who later became more famous for his manga-turned-anime works, Little Pollon and Nanako SOS. Chappy, along with other Toei magical girls such as Akko-chan, Sally, Cutie Honey, Megu-chan, Lunlun, and Lalabel, is a playable character in the Sony PlayStation game Majokko Daisakusen: Little Witching Mischiefs. The series was released on DVD in Japan in a box set in December 2005.

This lighthearted sitcom follows the life of twin sisters with contrasting personalities. Zhou Xinggui is a wedding dress designer with an open mind and a trendy appearance. Due to her work, she gets to know a married dentist and gets involved with him, leading to many funny incidents and misunderstandings. Meanwhile, her sister, Zhou Xingzhi, works as a nurse in the dentist's clinic and is conservative in her thinking, stern, and opposes her sister's relationship with the dentist. To make things more complicated, Xingzhi and the dentist's wife are good friends, leaving Xingzhi in a dilemma.

Based on Fujio Akatsuka's subversive family comedy, the series follows naive 10-year-old Bakabon and his folks: Papa, the patriarch and idiot supreme, Mama, Bakabon's darling mother and voice of reason, and Hajime, the newly-born baby boy who, due to being in the womb for an extended period, gained super-intelligence and an extensive bevy of worldly knowledge. Much of the comedy revolves around the idiotic natures of Bakabon and his Papa, and the people who have to put up with it.

Shinobu, who works in the advertising department of the female underwear maker Princess Underwear, has a dream of becoming a fairy tale writer. He has a colleague and fiancé Taeko, but he promised that he won't get married until he saves up 3 million yen, so until then he continues living in a second-hand bookstore. One Sunday, Shinobu, who was just walking around the city, helps an old woman who has fallen over. The old woman, Ijuuin Ayano, was born in a noble family and had run away from Kyoto due to a disagreement with her daughter-in-law.

This series centered on Melmo, a nine-year-old girl whose mother is killed in an auto accident and has to then take care of her two younger brothers (Totoo and Touch). While in Heaven, the children's mother is given one wish. Her wish is that Melmo (the oldest out of her 3 children ) will be allowed to grow up more quickly than usual, since their lives as children will be difficult without their parents.

The Hui Brothers Show is a Hong Kong sketch comedy television series produced by TVB and hosted by and starring brothers Michael Hui and Samuel Hui that ran for 52 episodes from 1971 to 1973.

"Guardian Angel" is a hilarious and satirical comedy about ghosts. The story takes place in an old house where a couple lived until the wife's infidelity is revealed and the husband decides to murder her lover. In the process, they accidentally kill the construction worker Ah Kit, whose ghost haunts the place. The couple sells the house to newlyweds Tang and Ma who face a series of strange occurrences. As they settle in, they realize that the ghost is friendly and helpful, even assisting with household chores. The couple becomes friends with the ghost, and she helps them with everything she can. Eventually, the kind-hearted ghost must be reincarnated, leaving the couple heartbroken. The film's hilarious antics suggest that humans and ghosts can coexist in harmony, while humans living together may have issues among themselves.

In "13," visionary Hong Kong New Wave director Patrick Tam delivers his final TV work, an 11-episode anthology series that dives into surreal and darkly comic narratives. Although originally slated for 13 episodes, each standalone story explores eerie undercurrents of everyday life. Highlights include a couple discovering a corpse in their apartment, a schoolteacher uncovering the unsettling truth about her hosts, and a strained summer romance influenced by a mysterious housekeeper. "13" mixes black comedy with Tam’s iconic strange flair, creating a thought-provoking exploration of the bizarre hidden beneath the surface.

A bride arrives at the Shimizu household, where the seven members of the family live as they please. However, the groom, the youngest son of the family, is going to study alone in the USA, and the bride is left alone in the eccentric house.

In early republican times, there was a very obscure village - Muzhuang. There was an unknown man who came from there and nobody knew where he was going. Only Ah Mao knew that his name was Ah Q, so he called him that. Ah Q put his hair in a bun, smoked a long cigarette, and sat proudly at the village entrance, watching the passersby. He was best at the "spiritual victory method", where he claimed to have won even though he had lost, causing a series of jokes. Ah Q asked around the village and learned that Master Zhao's son had become a scholar. Ah Q looked down on this and returned to his seat to drink. Other onlookers who saw his expression walked up to him, and Ah Q proudly claimed that he was the same age as Zhao's grandfather. They listened to him respectfully, but with some suspicion. The local constable demanded that each household pay two hundred yuan to congratulate Master Zhao, but everyone rejected the proposal......

A wacky comedy about a man from a noble ancestry of long ago, but who in modern times is just a lowly salary man that is constantly being humiliated by his family and co-workers.

An action comedy in which five people from the Aso detective agency aim to make a lot of money quickly through various commisions.

Oyuki, the daughter of a master swordsman in the Yaegaki-style, is a skilled practitioner of the secret technique "flying sword". She embarks on a journey alongside the naive samurai Isawa no Fujiyoshi, hailing from a peasant background, and Choshi no Yosaburo, an aspiring chivalrous rogue from a fishing village. Together, they travel and seek to punish the wicked.

This innovative sitcom uses a surrealistic approach, featuring a different protagonist named Wu Gui in every episode. Although each Wu Gui has a different background and personality, they all appear to be silly and foolish. The show is not meant to be taken seriously and relies on absurd humor and random plotlines to make the audience laugh. Despite the lack of continuity between episodes, the characters are well-developed, and the acting is excellent.
