The Queen & I was a short-lived American sitcom which aired on CBS from January 16 to April 24, 1969. It starred Larry Storch as junior officer Charles Duffy serving aboard a once popular but now aging run-down cruise ship known as the "Amsterdam Queen". When the crew find out the new owners intend to sell the ship for scrap, he and the rest of the crew involve themselves a number of "get rich quick" schemes in an attempt to save their ship. Duffy's efforts to raise money often coincided with his gambling and other personal scams. He and the crew were opposed by first officer Oliver Nelson, the series main antagonist, who was highly suspicious of Duffy's activities and often sought to put an end to them. While Storch and De Wolfe were the main stars, the series had a strong cast which included familiar character actors Liam Dunn, Dave Morick, Pat Morita, Chet Stratton, Carl Ballantine and Dave Willock. Other supporting roles were played by British actor Reginald Owen and American television actresses Barbara Stuart, Janet Clark and Natalie Masters. First airing on January 16, 1969, The Queen & I was originally intended to replace the sitcom Blondie midway through the 1968-69 season. Although it received some positive reviews, including being featured on the covers of TV Times and TV Magazine, it failed to catch on with viewers and canceled after 11 episodes. The series, however, served as a prelude to The Love Boat which debuted eight years later.

The World's Funniest! is an American reality show that aired on Fox in 1997. It was hosted by NFL sportscaster James Brown and announced by Mark Thompson. The show was similar in format to ABC's America's Funniest Home Videos, but also featuring funny clips from TV shows, bloopers, and funny TV commercials. Generally scheduled Sunday nights at 7PM ET, the series was seen on Fox until 2000. The World's Funniest! was based on a series of specials on Fox, entitled, Oops! The World's Funniest Outtakes.

The world of Papa and Boy is built upon The Fatherson System, a socio-economic system that allows fathers to command and control boys under the threat of punishment. The show is an absurd comedy about the cruel and terrible systems of power we inherit from our parents. Through Papa and Boy, we can see how absurd and morally bankrupt capitalism is and the way it deprives everyone involved of their humanity. Ultimately, the satirical core of Papa and Boy is making fun of the assumption that human hierarchies and capitalism are natural, justified, and immovable.

The show was taped in Soundstage 18 of Nickelodeon Studios Florida and was hosted by Phil Moore. The remote hosts for You’re On! were Vivianne Collins and Travis White. These two would brief the kids on their tasks, congratulate them when all three tasks were completed, or let them know time was up. Reruns of You’re On! have aired on Nickelodeon Games and Sports for Kids. It was dropped from the schedule on November 26, 2004.

The Paul Dixon Show is an American television variety program originating in Cincinnati on WLWT Television beginning in 1955 and ending in January 1975, one month after Dixon's death in December 1974. David Beckham's Soccer USA was a football highlights and general discussion show presented by Tim Lovejoy and produced and broadcast in the United Kingdom by Five. The show began following David Beckham's move to Los Angeles Galaxy, and Beckham often contributes to the show in the form of Interviews. Each week there was a special guest in the studio, usually a British sports personality, to whom Lovejoy chatted about their career and their views on Major League Soccer. A slightly different version of the show hosted by Natalie Pinkham and completely devoid of any content derived from British studio footage was broadcast in the USA on Fox Soccer Channel. Several regular features aside from MLS highlights were present in every show. One of these features was a "translation" of American commentary, called "How to speak U.S. Commentator". This provides a definition of slang used by commentators which differs from that used in Britain. Viewers were also invited to choose an MLS team to support and e-mail their choice to the show, from which polls were collected, determining the nation's favourite teams. At of the beginning of September, the show was cut to 30 minutes due to Channel 5 rescheduling their news.

Workshop is a comedic web series about the lives of struggling, young actors and actresses trying to make it in Hollywood. The series, written about actors by actors, contains many influences from the cast's personal lives. Nate Golon, executive producer and co-creator, said this about the show, “We basically expanded on the idea of all the things we had to deal with and then we made it goofier.” Season 2 premiered on Hulu on April 7, 2011, as six episodes of 22 minutes, making it the first ever independently produced half-hour comedy to air on Hulu. Special guest stars in Season 2 include Don Stark from That '70s Show, Josh Meyers from That '70s Show and MADtv, and Marie Wilson from As The World Turns. The series has been noted for its clean dialogue and content, traits not always shared by web content. Golon stated this was to promote accessibility to a large audience.

The show features a panel of American comedians and celebrities who answer "would you rather" questions in the style of the popular parlor game. The show premiered on 3 December 2011, in its regular time slot of Saturdays at 11 pm following The Graham Norton Show. Would You Rather...? is notable as being among BBC America's first efforts at original programming, as the channel initially focused on imports from the UK. Would You Rather...? is also one of the few examples of the panel game genre in America, and it is the first panel game to air on BBC America. BBC America ordered 13 episodes of Would You Rather...? for series 1. The episodes were recorded in New York at Manhattan Center in September and October 2011. One of the winners of the show, Jonny Breeze, won £30,000 but this was one of the episodes that never aired.
