The number 16 is cursed, not sweet, for women in the Walker family, according to single mother Maddy Walker. She is convinced in the existence of the "Walker women's curse" because she was born when her mother Loretta was 16, and Maddy gave birth to her daughter, Shante, at the same age. Maddy refuses to allow Shante to follow that pattern as her dreaded 16th birthday approaches. At the teen's sweet 16 party, things get complicated when Maddy, who is dating Cedric, sees her high school flame --Shante's father Victor-- and old feelings resurface, which lead to a romantic encounter. The moment of weakness results in Maddy learning, at the age of 32, that she has once again become pregnant by Victor. As the family encounters the highs and lows of the surprising pregnancy, they discover that starting over might not be as bad as they had anticipated.

Season one was set to feature seven half-hour episodes. On October 12, 2012, NBC announced the cancellation of the series after only four episodes had been filmed, citing creative differences with star Dane Cook, and that the filmed episodes would not be aired. It became the second series of the 2012–13 television season to be canceled, after Made in Jersey.

Surviving Suburbia

Surviving Suburbia is an American sitcom starring Bob Saget and Cynthia Stevenson that aired on American Broadcasting Company from April 6 to August 7, 2009. The series originally aired at 9:30 PM Eastern/8:30 PM Central following Dancing with the Stars, before moving to Fridays at 8:30 PM Eastern/7:30 PM Central for its remaining episodes. It was the first program starring Saget to air on ABC since he left America's Funniest Home Videos in 1997. On August 8, 2009, ABC Entertainment President Steve McPherson announced that Surviving Suburbia, along with The Goode Family, had officially been cancelled due to low ratings.

Hosted by Alexander Armstrong, it featured two teams of two players, one captained by David Mitchell and the other by Johnny Vaughan. How's Your News?

How's Your News? is an American television series and also a feature film. It aired Sundays on MTV in the United States, and the feature film based on the same concept was released in 2003. It stars a group of reporters with developmental disabilities who interview celebrities and politicians. It is the continuation of a documentary film project started in 1999 by Arthur Bradford at Camp Jabberwocky in Martha's Vineyard, which was made into a movie of the same name and shown on HBO in 2003. South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone serve as the show's executive producers. Season One had a total of 6 episodes. According to the "How's Your News?" website on April 9, 2009, the show has not been renewed for a second season on MTV, stating: "The decision had little to do with the quality of the series, which was one of the most enthusiastically received and best reviewed programs on mtv this year. It’s just a tough financial time and mtv needed to keep pushing for higher ratings with other shows. Also, we always knew that our series was an unusual fit for their style of programming. We’re not “The Hills” or “America’s Next Best Dance Crew” after all…" After completing the feature film for HBO, the concept was pitched to the Trio network, who subsequently backed the short film "On the Campaign Trail", about the How's Your News? teams trip to both the Democratic and Republican conventions in 2004. The half hour film was broadcast on Trio and Channel Four England and featured candid interviews with Hillary Clinton, John McCain, Andre 3000, Ben Affleck, Howard Dean, Michael Moore and Newt Gingrich, amongst others. Although it was rarely seen, this half hour documentary was well reviewed and helped convince MTV of the viability of the concept as mainstream TV series. They funded a pilot in 2006.

Only one episode was shown leaving one episode unaired and the show is considered one of the most infamous flops in TV history. Turn-On's sole episode was shown on Wednesday, February 5, 1969, at 8:30 p.m. Eastern. Among the cast were Teresa Graves, who would join the Laugh-In cast that autumn, and Chuck McCann, longtime kiddie show host, character actor, and voice artist. Bert the Conqueror was an American reality television series which premiered on the Travel Channel on June 16, 2010. The show was hosted by the American stand-up comedian Bert Kreischer. He traveled across the United States to amusement parks and other entertainment venues to experience and promote various roller coasters, water rides, and unusual sports. Bert was known for his uncontrollable screaming in early episodes of the show. Each episode took part in a single U.S. state, and each episode was titled with the name of the state in which that episode takes place. There are also episodes which took place in a single amusement park, such as Cedar Point, in which Bert rode 4 roller coasters at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. On September 24, 2010, Bert the Conqueror was renewed for a second season. The renewal was revealed on the Bert the Conqueror Facebook page the next day. The second season began April 3, 2011. Bert the Conqueror was moved during its last season in favor of the US version of Scream! If You Know the Answer, which was also hosted by Bert Kreisher. It was not picked up for a third season.
