David Tench Tonight was a short-lived television talk show created for Network Ten in Australia. The series featured David Tench, an animated fictional character, as host. The name "Tench" is a partial anagram created from the name Channel Ten. Tench conducted interviews with various "celebrities" including Pat Rafter, Nick Lachey, Ronn Moss, Nelly Furtado and Ella Hooper. The 2006 season finale was shown on 23 November 2006. A Christmas special aired on 25 December 2006 at 10:30pm. It was reported in The Daily Telegraph on 5 April 2007 that David Tench Tonight had been axed by Network Ten.

Golden Mother-In-Law

The series revolves around the main character, Sergei Krymov (the owner of a travel agency), and his common-law wife, Svetlana, who is suddenly visited by her mother, Antonina Mikhailovna, from the village. His mother-in-law quickly finds common ground with Sergei's daughter from his first marriage, Dasha, but the differences in their upbringing and outlook on life become a source of constant clashes with Sergei's sister, Valeria. Gradually, Antonina Mikhailovna learns that her daughter and Sergei are not married, and she tries in every way to facilitate this, sometimes using very unusual methods. Furthermore, at the travel agency "Krymov and Co.", where Sergei and Svetlana work, every day brings new, sometimes intractable, problems. But the resourceful mother-in-law will always find a solution, even if the situation initially seems hopeless.

Petrolheads is a BBC panel game presented by Neil Morrissey, with team captains Richard Hammond and Chris Barrie. The show pitted motoring wits against each other and included car stunts shot on location. There were two guests each episode. The show was produced by Brian Klein, directed by John L Spencer and executive producers were Marie-Claire Walton and Steve Ayres. The theme music was by British composer Leigh Haggerwood. It was created and scripted by prolific author Norman Giller, with input from Top Gear writer Richard Porter and comedy scriptwriter Ged Parsons. This Space for Rent is a Canadian dramedy on CBC starring Dov Tiefenbach that premiered on January 4, 2006 as a 'special' CBC pilot as part of its "Comedy Week". Tiefenbach plays Lucky Carroway, a recent university graduate and writer who finds that life after university is not as perfect as it might seem. The show begins shortly after his valedictorian speech, when his world comes crashing down after his first book is rejected by his literary agent. His life becomes worse as his arch-nemesis becomes a published author who appears in "Vancouver Magazine's" top 10 writers list. He becomes a recluse who constantly wears his graduation robe and plays video games all day. However, he quickly recovers by writing a vicious 'letter to the editor' to Vancouver Magazine where he decries the selection of his arch-nemesis as a top 10 writer. This letter angers so many readers of the magazine that they offer him a job as an anonymous "Hate Male" article writer. He lives in downtown Vancouver in a flat with several friends. Emily Hampshire plays a recent law school graduate named Iona Goldenthal, a binge drinker who must deal with the chauvinistic world of law. Rainbow Sun Francks plays a recent graduate named Barnaby Sharpe who majored in economics and Russian literature. He fails his first audition and ends up working at a Jar Heads, a Starbucks parody, as a "coffee jerk". Kea Wong plays Rumour Wong, a medical intern and Lucky's girlfriend, who must deal with Lucky's mental breakdown and reclusive nature. Jason Bryden plays Elliot Hayden, a mutual gay friend who speaks Mandarin and frequents Chinatown. He teaches English to immigrant children and acts as a foil to the rest of the characters.

John en Shirley was a sitcom aired weekly on ABS-CBN. The show was a spin-off from the original John En Marsha, which was the longest-running primetime comedy sitcom in Philippine television history. On 2006, the classic 70's sitcom was revived on ABS-CBN under the new title, John En Shirley. Dolphy and Maricel were the only ones from the original cast. One of the original cast members, Evelyn Bontogon as Matutina and Isko Salvador as Isko, made an appearance on one of the episodes.

The third season began airing in the Philippines on September 9, 2006 and ended on April 28, 2007 on the ABS-CBN network in the Philippines. Unlike the stories in the first two seasons of Komiks, which were mostly presented in a single episode or at most in two episodes, Da Adventures of Pedro Penduko will span the entire third season of the series.
