Kerching! was a children's comedy drama on CBBC. It follows the lives of teenagers Taj, Danny and Seymour. The programme revolves around Taj's website, Rudeboy, and his money-making schemes. The fictional Rudeboy website sells ringtones, computer games, concert tickets, designer clothes and other merchandise and is central to the plot of the programme. The title of the show comes from Taj, Danny and Seymor's catchphrase "Kerching!", used when they make money through their business schemes. Taj aims to make one million pounds for his hard-working mother, which he finally does in the last episode of the show.

Val Falvey, TD is an Irish comedy television programme starring Ardal O'Hanlon and Owen Roe. The show began airing on RTÉ Two in November 2009. The show is about Val Falvey, a TD in the fictional town of Kilmehill.

Dare To Believe is a surreal TV sketch show that was shown on ITV in the UK. The programme was shown during the early hours of the mornings, and ran for 2 series between 2002 and 2004, each with thirteen 30 minute episodes. The show gained a cult following amongst students and insomniacs. It largely consisted of dada-inspired comedy sketches, interspersed with periods of hypnotic visuals. During these hypnotic visuals, its much-used catchphrase was often recited: "Fly like a mouse, run like a cushion, be the small bookcase". It was written and directed by Tim de Jongh, who also acted in the show. Tim Firth and Michael Marshall Smith who both co-wrote some of the material were better known for their work on the BBC Radio 4 show, And Now, In Colour. Tim Scott won a BAFTA in 2003 for co-writing and directing the children's show Ripley and Scuff. Dare To Believe was commissioned and then re-commissioned by David Liddament. The show was abandoned upon Liddament's exit from ITV. The show notably contained voice-over work and appearances by the late Patrick Allen.

John en Shirley was a sitcom aired weekly on ABS-CBN. The show was a spin-off from the original John En Marsha, which was the longest-running primetime comedy sitcom in Philippine television history. On 2006, the classic 70's sitcom was revived on ABS-CBN under the new title, John En Shirley. Dolphy and Maricel were the only ones from the original cast. TV Burp was an Australian television comedy program which premiered on the Seven Network on 23 July 2009 hosted by Ed Kavalee. The show presents a satirical look at the previous week's television, including extracts from TV shows with added sketches, observational voice-overs, and guest appearances. The show was based on the original British award winning TV series Harry Hill's TV Burp. The first season finished on Thursday 10 September, with Seven hoping to bring it back some time in the near future, though the second series did not air in 2010.

Mouth to Mouth is a 2009 comedy-drama television series written by Karl Minns and broadcast on BBC Three. Each of the six episodes follow a monologue structure where each of the main characters describe their life around the same date. As the series progresses the viewer discovers how each of the lives are interwoven. On the surface the script has some fine humorous moments but underlying it deals with some serious issues.

You've Got A Friend was a 2004 reality comedy show on MTV, produced by Ashton Kutcher and Jason Goldberg. It was launched near the same time as their reality prank show Punk'd, and although successful in ratings, was cancelled at the end of the first season so they could focus on its more popular counterpart. The show filmed contestants having to tolerate a 'friend' for 48 hours, while filmed on hidden camera in their home and different public settings. The 'friend' would be a trained improvisational comedian, who would progressively torment the contestant, their friends and loved ones. The catch was that the friends and family of the contestant were unaware of the folie à deux. If able to endure the embarrassment caused by the irreverent demands of the friend, the contestant would win a cash prize.

A British version of the show, aired on Sky 1, started on Thursday 19 February 2009 and is hosted by Kate Thornton, former presenter of Don't Try This at Home (TV series) and more prominently The X Factor, and was commissioned for 6 episodes airing over 6 weeks.

When Bijan wins a brand new Mercedes Benz in a sweepstakes at his bank, it seems like all of their problems are over, but that all changes when Bijan meets Kambiz (Reza Shafiei Jam), and hilarity ensues.

Arkivet was a Norwegian 10 episode drama/comedy series set in a hospital archive. The series was compared with The Office by some critics due to the "mockumentary" style but was actually developed before the British hit show. The first episode was watched by 74 000 viewers, but the rest of the series had an average of only 44 000 viewers.

Having it Off is a one-off TV comedy series for BBC Choice made by Red Production Company in 2002. It was set at a cheap hairdressing salon in Eccles, Greater Manchester. It was shown only once and is not available yet on DVD. Out gay bitchy stereotype Guy La Trousse, desperately tries to escape the drudge of daily wash and crop and change the fortunes of the salon - and his career. This is all thwarted by April, nymphomanic loud-mouthed wife of the hairdressers owner. The BBC website describes it as "rude, crude, strongly working-class sitcom on the lesser-seen BBC Choice, Having It Off promised much yet fell curiously short of the mark, lacking the key that would have propelled it to a higher level". However, tapes have been known to change hands on eBay for high prices.

The Search for the Funniest Mom in America, or simply Funniest Mom, is a six-part reality series that features a competition between ten female comedians who compete for $50,000, the opportunity to develop her own show for Nick at Nite and host a special night of programming on the network. As of season three however the winner is no longer given the opportunity to develop their own show, and no television series starring any of the winners has made it to air. The first season ran during spring 2005, with stand-up comedian and actress Sandra Bernhard serving as the host. The first season aired in five episodes, with Darlene Westgor being the winner. The second season aired during spring 2006, with actress Katey Sagal replacing Bernhard as the host. The second season, which aired in six episodes, announced Rubi Nicholas, a Muslim mother with two children, as the funniest mom in America. A third season, simply called "Funniest Mom in America 3" began airing on April 3, 2007. Like season two, season three has six parts. It was announced on January 11, 2007, that Roseanne Barr would serve as the host for season three. Season 3 ended on Mothers Day 2007.

Danger! 50,000 Volts! is a 2002 British television programme written and presented by Nick Frost, which presented viewers with various life-threatening scenarios and suggested ways out of these situations. The show was a spoof of the outdoors survival genre in which survival experts demonstrated how to improvise solutions to dangerous problems. A feature of the series was the clever and humorous use of 'danger' iconography in the graphic design of segment titles, further identifying the show with the British tradition of stoic resolve in the face of overwhelming odds. In the DVD release of the programme, a 30 minute spin-off episode called Danger! 50,000 Zombies! is included as an extra. This episode saw Frost paired up with Dr. Russell Fell, as they dealt with the situation of a zombie outbreak and what one should do in this situation. In 2003 there was a second season made called "Danger! Incoming Attack!"

Some of the archive footage seen on the show has never been seen on television before because it was deemed too shocking by TV executives to screen at the time. Some material created for the programme, including the 1920s-style animated series Happy Hori, is presented as though it were archival. This country was shaped by visitors and the first episode examines the impact of such diverse guests as sheep, Colonel Sanders, the Shah of Iran and Muhammad Ali on New Zealand. Famous troublemakers such as Hongi Hika, the Ingham Twins and the Neil Roberts' feature in an episode devoted to Trouble. Other episodes in the series consider some of the country's most powerful people, its legends, and reveal some of the most shocking and sexiest moments in the nation's history.

Shaq Vs. is an American reality television show produced for ABC by Dick Clark Productions and Media Rights Capital starring American basketball star Shaquille O'Neal. It began airing on August 18, 2009. Shaquille O'Neal claims to be "the greatest athlete" and challenged numerous top athletes in their own sports. The Washington Post has pointed out similarities to Shaq Vs. and Todd Gallagher's book "Andy Roddick Beat Me With a Frying Pan" saying the book and the show have "precisely the same premise" and that a TV show based on the book Gallagher was trying to sell was "the exact same show." TMZ later reported that Gallagher received a half-a-million dollar settlement. Gallagher's name appears in the credits of season 2 as a producer. The Arizona Republic reported that in early 2008 Steve Nash, a former teammate of O'Neal's, had mentioned to O'Neal a reality show he was pursuing that would feature Nash taking on professional athletes in their own sport. O'Neal said Nash's idea was based on training with other athletes, not competing against them. Nash would not confirm the Republic's story and said, "We collaborated on parts of the show." Nash is an executive producer of the program.

Sanya was an Indian TV situation comedy available in Hindi. It is a show for the channel Hungama TV which was bought by the Walt Disney Company. The show originally ran from 2005 - 2006. Sanya, however was actually put into the spotlight when it was shown on Hungama TV's sister channel Disney Channel IndiaSanya premiered on Disney Channel India on April 21, 2008 at 7.30pm IST.Sanya was shown daily at 7.30pm when a new episode was broadcast and was repeated at 10.30am and 3pm. The week's episodes were shown consecutively on Sundays at 4.30-7pm.

Cracked is a Scottish comedy drama, which was broadcast on STV. Created and written by Clare Hemphill and Kate Donnelly, the drama series is set in a Scottish countryside residential rehab clinic, a place where people with various mental and emotional problems check themselves in for some professional tender loving care. Over six episodes, the series deals with issues that are difficult and dark, but also more light hearted and comical situations. Cracked was produced by STV Productions in 2005, but due to the lack of appropriate regional time-slots, the series wasn't broadcast until 2008, where it was shown on Thursday nights at 10:40pm, taking the place of popular comedy-drama High Times.
