Morobi and Mokwepa are troublesome college veteran students bullying freshmen and getting some of them into serious trouble. Tshediso from KwaThema, Gauteng, is one of the victims of bullying and is being advised by Mosala, a wise and sensible leader from Mmamahabane. Their roommates are Sello, an intelligent technician, from Phiritona and Maloka, an informant who is married with two kids.

Out of Tune was a British children's TV sitcom which was shown on CBBC from 1996 to 1998. It features a group of fictional children that belong to a church choir at a school and their practice sessions. However the choir is humorously bad, hence the name 'Out of Tune', and the practice sessions are often interrupted by one thing or another. The show aired at 4:35 on BBC1 on Tuesday and Wednesday and it had a total of 40 episodes over three series. The first series started on 14 February 1996 and finished on 4 June later that year. Don't Feed the Gondolas is an Irish comedy panel show, that ran for four series on Network 2 between 1997 and 2001. The show was hosted by Seán Moncrieff and the longest-serving panellists were Brendan O'Connor and Dara Ó Briain. The name of the show is attributed to a remark made by a Wicklow County Councillor, Jimmy Miley, during a meeting regarding Blessington Lake. When the meeting proposed putting a gondola on the lake, he remarked: "That's all very well, but who's going to feed it?" A running gag of the show, whereby the host Seán Moncrieff would make prank calls under the alias 'Monica Loolly' and claim to be from a small town in Galway named Ahascragh.

1775 was a 1992 pilot episode for a CBS situation comedy, similar in style to the BBC situation comedy Blackadder. Set in colonial Philadelphia during the run-up to the American Revolution, the series was to follow the exploits of innkeeper Jeremy Proctor and his family. The series was not picked up by CBS. Julie Walters and Friends was a one-off comedy sketch show showcasing the talents of actress Julie Walters. Sketches were written by Walters' frequent collaborators, including Victoria Wood, Alan Bennett, Willy Russell and Alan Bleasdale. Walters portrayed new characters alongside roles she had previously been known for, including a monologue in which she appeared as Mrs Murray, her character from G.B.H, written by Bleasdale. The show was nominated for the Best Light Entertainment award at the 1992 BAFTAs.

"The Pride of the Third World" is the title of a series of 16 comedy programs broadcast on La 2 of Spanish Television between 1993 and 1994, starring the comedy duo Faemino and Cansado. The programs were recorded almost without cuts in the Galileo Galilei theater in Madrid, with a live audience, and each episode ran for less than thirty minutes. "The Pride of the Third World" largely cemented the duo's place in the hearts of Spanish audiences, despite it not being their first television appearance and none of their programs achieving high ratings.
