Barker wrote all the scripts under the pseudonym Jonathan Cobbald. He liked to refer to the show as "Fawlty Towers mark one" as it appeared on television three years before that other hotel bound sitcom. Four episodes of the sitcom were recently performed on stage by Nottingham University's New Theatre.

Keith Lemon's Very Brilliant World Tour is a travel-style comedy series hosted by Keith Lemon, a character portrayed by comedian Leigh Francis. The series was first announced during an appearance by Lemon on the Big Brother companion show Big Brother's Big Mouth in 2007. The series featured Lemon travelling around the world on a shark-shaped flight plan, visiting six different countries, and meeting various celebrity guests, including Spice Girls Mel B and Mel C, along the way.During the series, Paddy McGuinness played the role of Lemon's cousin Gary. The show premiered on 11 March 2008, attracting 565,000 viewers, and concluded on 15 April 2008. In May 2008, Francis announced that he would not be filming a second series in the near future, as he would be busy filming his panel show Celebrity Juice commencing in August 2008. The show was released on DVD on 3 November 2008. Francis announced in May 2011 that he would like to write and record a second series, but said he would struggle to find the time to do so.

'Orrible is a British television sitcom produced by the BBC. Broadcast in 2001, it was written by and starred Johnny Vaughan. Vaughan appears as a taxi-cab driver and wannabe small time criminal in Acton. A year later, a new by-pass opened and most of the 'passing trade' disappeared. Turnover dropped dramatically and Bob was left to scrape a living by catering for a small band of regular customers. The Sharp End was a 1991 British television comedy drama starring Gwen Taylor, James Cosmo and Philip Martin Brown. It was written by Roy Clarke and directed by Brian Parker and David Penn, and ran for eight episodes on BBC1 from 12 April 1991. Taylor took the leading role of Celia Forrest, a recent widow who had decided to take on the running of her late husband's Debt Collection Agency. However, her decision to do this was much to the displeasure of her more ruthless business rival, who tried everything in his power to close her business down. James Cosmo also starred as Carmichael, an illiterate hermit who was hired by Forrest as her assistant. He spent much of the series riding around on a pushbike with a tape recorder on which Forrest would record instructions of his tasks for the day. The duo managed to keep the company running, but the series was less successful, and was cancelled after one season.
