The World of Golden Eggs Vol. 01 was voted top selling anime/special effects DVD in Japan in 2008 with 97,292 copies. The anime was adapted into a Wii game and a Nintendo DS game called The World of Golden Eggs: Nori Nori Rhythm-kei and The World of Golden Eggs: Nori Nori Uta Dekichatte Kei respectively.
