Sheung's Silver Chamber, the largest jewel company in Foshan, Guangdong Province China, is facing serious financial difficulties. Lai is angry with Shau for being bad to her mother and she means to make things difficult for Mei as revenge.

A Journey Called Life is a TVB modern drama series broadcast in March 2008. This is also one of the few TVB series that TVB has produced that dealt with real life issues and scenarios. It's a series that involved both morals and life's lessons. The entire series featured problems that teenagers and young adults have been dealing with over past decade, including drugs, abortions, rape, family trust and relationships, money and greed.

Miu Chun (Gallen Lo) was once diagnosed with cancer, and became really depressed. Cheung Ka-Ka (Tracy Ip), a nurse, comforted him and later became his girlfriend. Soon after he recovered, the two adopted a cat, Can Can, and a dog, 大巴 (Dai Ba). One day 大巴 ran across a road, Ka-Ka tried to rescue the dog from an oncoming car but died in the accident herself. From that day on Chun hated dogs and abandoned Dai Ba. Chow Chi-Yu (Myolie Wu) found 大巴 wandering on the streets and brought him back to her father's kennel. However, 大巴 carried a deadly virus and killed all the dogs at the kennel. Since then, Yu's father became employed with the pound to catch abandoned dogs. Her brother, Chow Chi-Jim (David Lui), and sister-in-law, Shui Tin-Lan (Margie Tsang) opened a pet shop to earn money for the family.

The Master of Tai Chi is a Hong Kong martial arts television drama that aired on Jade and HD Jade from 25 February to 28 March 2008. Produced by Tommy Leung and Raymond Chai, The Master of Tai Chi is a TVB production. The drama was filmed in early 2006, and is the station's first high-definition series that was ever produced. This is TVB's custom-made series for kung-fu icon Vincent Zhao. At the request of Zhao, the main character's name has been changed from 'Wen Zhiu' to 'Mo Ma'.

A sum of drug money triggers a battle of wits between Kwong Yeung and Ko Chi, a detective and a thief. Yeung gradually discovers the true identity of Chi is a mob chief who uses the restaurant business to cover his illegal activities. Dressage to Win is a nine-episode Hong Kong television series created by TVB in celebration of the 2008 Olympics held in Beijing. The series revolves around 12 students attending horse-riding school in the hopes to get a scholarship to go to England. Dressage to Win is part of the Four Leaf Clover TVB series and guest stars many TVB actors and singers throughout.

With the support of her mentor KO MING, TONG becomes a voice over talent by utilizing her lip reading ability and she meets another voice talent LEUNG KAI YIN who also has keen interest in the industry. YIN is fond of the leading voice actress YUEN SIU NA and he asks TONG to be his matchmaker. TONG suffers from a lack of confidence to exhibit her love to YIN so she prefers to help achieve his wish.
