Tropical Heat is a Canadian action series The plot revolves around private investigator, ex-DEA agent Nick Slaughter who after arriving in the fictional resort town of Key Mariah, Florida and setting up a detective agency there, met up with local tourist agent Sylvie Girard to solve a variety of different cases.

The Hidden Room is an American drama-horror anthology television series. Geared mainly towards women, it aired on Lifetime for 33 episodes from 1991 to 1993. Each episode usually centered around a woman in hardship, but with a dark Twilight Zone-esque twist. Most episodes starred a well-known actress in the lead role.

Hillside (known as Fifteen in the United States) is a Canadian-American teen drama that aired on YTV in Canada from 1991 to 1993. Created and produced by John T. Binkley, the series was Nickelodeon's only teenage soap opera. The show was shot on videotape, similar to most daytime dramas. The series was first conceived as Fifteen in an improvised form for The Disney Channel, where a 13-episode pilot series was produced and tested in the U.S. After Disney decided not to proceed with the project, Nickelodeon and Canadian partners joined Binkley in producing the series which was known in its first and second seasons as Hillside in Canada, and throughout the 65-episode run as Fifteen in the U.S. The show was subsequently syndicated around the world, with runs in Germany and Israel, among others. The series features a large ensemble cast which underwent several changes over the show's four-season run. Notable cast members include Laura Harris, Enuka Okuma, and Ryan Reynolds.

Northwood follows the lives and loves of the teenagers who hang out in this middle class, ethnically diverse metropolitan suburb. Premiering in March 1991, and originally slated to air as a limited-run six-part series, high ratings for these six episodes garnered a full-series order, with the second season premiering in September of that same year. The series was created and produced by Nick Orchard.

Urban Angel is a Canadian television drama series, which aired on CBC Television from 1991 to 1993. Based on the memoirs of real-life Canadian journalist Victor Malarek, the show starred Louis Ferreira as Victor Torres, a crusading journalist for the Montreal Tribune. The series aired in the United States as part of CBS's late-night Crimetime After Primetime line up. The show's cast also included Vittorio Rossi, Dorothée Berryman, Vlasta Vrana, Ellen David, Dean Marshall, Michael Rudder, Macha Grenon and Sophie Lorain.

Her murder remained unsolved for nearly 16 years, despite the fact that within days of the tragedy, rumours began circulating of the identity of the men involved.

Kurt Vonnegut, the author of a collection of short stories called "Welcome to the Monkey House", hosts a series that displays dramatizations of several of his short stories. The anthology series aired on Showtime network from 1991 to 1993. The first three stories were produced as a television pilot in British Columbia, Canada, and broadcast together from 9:00–10:30pm on May 12, 1991. The later four were filmed and produced in New Zealand in 1992, as a co-production with South Pacific Pictures.
