Roman Mysteries is a television series based on the series of children's historical novels by Caroline Lawrence. It is reportedly the most expensive British children's TV series to date at £1 million per hour. The series began filming in June 2006 and was first broadcast from 8 May 2007. The series is divided into "scrolls", each based on one book, starting with The Secrets of Vesuvius. The stories are told in the same order as the book series, except for book 6, The Twelve Tasks of Flavia Gemina, which is transposed to the second season. Books 11 and 12 were not adapted, and the series ends with the adaptation of Book 13. Each scroll consists of two half-hour episodes. The first scroll guest-starred Simon Callow as Pliny the Elder. On 22 May 2007, after just two episodes, Anne Foy announced on CBBC on BBC One that the show has been postponed due to recent events in the news and would return later in the year on CBBC on BBC One. Since "The Pirates of Pompeii" was about children being kidnapped, the postponement was most likely due to the then recent disappearance of Madeleine McCann. On 19 June the series began broadcasting again from the beginning. Filming for the second season began on 13 August 2007. The episodes are based on the novels The Gladiators from Capua, The Twelve Tasks of Flavia Gemina, The Colossus of Rhodes, The Fugitive from Corinth and The Slave-girl from Jerusalem.

Algo habrán hecho is a documentary film for television that narrates the history of Argentina. It was created by the argentine historian Felipe Pigna, who acted as presenter. In the first two seasons Mario Pergolini was a co-presenter of it, but after giving up on all works on television his role in the documentary was taken by Juan Di Natale. Di Natale and Pergolini were by that time co-presenters of the talk show Caiga quien caiga. Di Natale pointed that he wasn't meant to act as if he was Pergolini, but the script writers wrote instead the scripts based on his own personality. The first season, aired in 2005 on Canal 13, narrates the history of Argentina from the british invasions of the Río de la Plata to the fall of Juan Manuel de Rosas during the Battle of Caseros. The third one, aired in 2008 on Telefé, resumes as well from the end of previous season and ends with the meeting of Juan Domingo Perón and Eva Duarte at the Luna Park during a fund-raising to help after the San Juan earthquake.

However, due to low ratings, it was removed after only three episodes, the remainder of the series going unaired. A DVD of all six episodes was released in December 2004.

Tang Qing Shan and his father were arrested. The father died, and Tang Qing Shan was condemned to be in jail forever.

The comedy centres around his difficulties adjusting to life in the outback and his eccentric fellow astronomers. The first series was released in the United Kingdom and Australia in October 2005 and consisted of six 30-minute episodes. The second series began airing on 3 August 2006 in the UK. The exterior scenes were shot at Broken Hill in New South Wales, Australia. The observatory itself is a CGI creation, according to the DVD commentary, and only a partial doorway was constructed on site for filming purposes.
