Morio Koga, an employee of a major trading company in Tokyo, returns to his hometown in Hotaka, Nagano Prefecture, after seven years to lead the "Azumino Squall Project." The redevelopment plan for Koga's company clashes with Hiroki's environmental protection efforts, causing a conflict between Koga's job and friendships.
