Each chapter covers a specific topic which has to do with living in "Wa" (the Japanese-style spirit of peace and harmony) throughout the changing seasons.

Hanoka is a 12-episode anime created by RAMS and Fanworks. Directed by Aruji Morino, it was broadcast in Japan on Kids Station between August 7, 2006 and October 23, 2006. It is the first TV anime series entirely created with Adobe Flash animation. The opening theme of the anime is "Dual Love on the planet ~Hanoka~" by Sakura Nogawa. On October 4, 2006, King Records released a maxi single for the anime's opening theme, "Dual Love on the planet ~Hanoka~". It was sung by Sakura Nogawa. The song was composed by Hironobu Kageyama.

It was previously shown on Cartoon Network and Kids' WB in the United States. TWF currently airs weekdays at 4:55pm on Cartoon Network Philippines, with half-hour recap editions Saturdays at 11:30am. The program's creator is Larry Schwarz of Animation Collective. The show centers around two rival thumb wrestling teams in the style of professional wrestling, including colorful characters and over-the-top emotions and antics. The protagonists, the Dexteras, wrestle against their rivals, the Sinistras, in the quest to win the coveted TWF title. The wrestling bouts are hosted by two thumb commentators, Dick Thompson and retired TWF wrestler Colonel Cossack. TWF originated as a television series before being licensed for toys, apparel, and collectibles.

URBO: The Adventures of Pax Afrika is a South African science fiction animated television series created by the animation department of Octagon CSI, which later became Clockwork Zoo. It started airing in October 2006, and ran until November 2009. It chronicles the adventures of a gang of teenagers who live in a futuristic Cape Town, renamed iKapa City, the last known city on the planet, as they fight the evil industrialist overlord Maximilian Malice. Pax Afrika, the son of the missing explorer Zingela Afrika, discovers that he has ancestral powers that allow him to see flashes of the future. Together with his friends, emo mechanic T-Man, hacker girl Keitu, and Una, Malice's rebellious daughter, Pax plans to find his father and save the city from Malice Industries. But his fate is also tied to the mysterious, hidden city of URBO - an environmental El Dorado located somewhere in the ruins of Africa.

The Adventures of Chico and Guapo is a show that originally aired on MTV2's Sic 'Em Fridays, but is now aired on MTV Overdrive. Set in New York City, the show is about two interns trying to get ahead in the music business. Chico and Guapo work at Mr. Angelo's recording studio. The series follows their misadventures, and also features Chico and Guapo's commentary on real TV shows while channel surfing in Mr. Angelo's office. Shorts of the cartoon originally aired on The Orlando Jones show on the FX network prior to becoming a regular series.

Super Mario Bros. Z is a British fan-made flash-animated web series created by Mark Haynes. It is a crossover between the Super Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog franchises, while incorporating elements from the Dragon Ball Z series. The series follows Mario joining forces with Sonic the Hedgehog to prevent Turbo Mecha Sonic from collecting the seven Chaos Emeralds and destroying the world. The series remains unfinished, a reboot started in 2016.

"City Hunters" is an animated TV series developed in Argentina that premiered throughout Latin America on October 2006 on the Fox network. The series, which blends traditional animation techniques with the latest generation of CGI, consists of nine 11-minute episodes. "City Hunters" is a form of branded entertainment. It was co-produced by Unilever for the AXE brand. The animated series follows the antics of an aging Casanova, Dr. Lynch, and the young man he's training in the art of seducing women. The series was created by Catmandu Branded Entertainment, a branded entertainment firm headquartered in Buenos Aires, Argentina and produced by Encuadre. The characters were developed by Italian illustrator Milo Manara and aired in English. "City Hunters" airs on Fox Latin America's adult-skewed block "No Molestar", which includes "Futurama," "The Simpsons,"Family Guy", and "American Dad." The first episode was supervised by Carlos Baeza and most of the episodes were directed by Diego Pernia, Victor Ahmed and Gustavo Cova.

In Ireland the series started broadcasting in 2008 on kids channel Cula 4.
