The Cartoonstitute

The Cartoonstitute was a planned Cartoon Network project created by Cartoon Network executive Rob Sorcher that would have been a showcase for animated shorts created without the interference of network executives and focus testing. It was headed by Craig McCracken and Rob Renzetti. 39 shorts for the project were in development at Cartoon Network Studios, but only 14 of these were completed. Eventually, balancing 5 upcoming shows and adding another was just impossible and the project was scrapped. Of the shorts which were made, only Regular Show and Uncle Grandpa have been greenlit to become animated series. On May 7, 2010, Cartoon Network uploaded nearly all of the shorts to their website. The only shorts not uploaded were Maruined, 3 Dog Band, and Joey to the World.

Klutter!

Klutter is a segment that ran on Eek! Stravaganza's fourth season from 1995 to 1996 on the Fox Kids block. It was created by David Silverman and Savage Steve Holland. The segment was animated by the same people who used to work for Fox's The Critic, which was canceled that year. The executive producers were David Silverman, Savage Steve Holland, and Phil Roman. Unlike the Eek and Thunderlizard segments, this was a Fox Children's Productions and Savage Studios co-production in association with Film Roman for animation. It lasted a year with only 8 episodes. The segment follows Ryan and Wade Heap, who can't have a pet because their father is allergic to pets. So they decide to make a pet on their own, out of a pile of junk by static electricity. There are other characters in the show, like Sandee Heap, who was lonely at first, before Klutter came into their lives. They went on mysteries, a la Scooby Doo like to save animals and solve crimes.

The Transporters

Based on the idea that children with autism may find human faces confusing since they are unpredictable due to the fact that the autistic brain cannot cope with unpredictability. In Baron-Cohen's theory, children with autism are strong "systemisers" and faces are hard to systemise. In contrast, children with autism have a preference for predictable systems. The Transporters therefore focuses on mechanical vehicles that only travel along tracks, because they are highly predictable systems. Grafted onto these animated vehicles are real human faces.

Leader Dog

Leader Dog is an animated film series on Nicktoons. The series was produced by Animation Collective, created by Larry Schwarz and debuted in 2004. For a time a full 30 minutes series was planned, but the idea was scrapped due to lack of interest from viewers. This show is about a spunky dog who is abducted by aliens from Planet Zmed, whose king is King Adrian, sets two of Zmed's explorers, named Dave and Blark, in search for Earth's leader; the one that everyone follows. At the very moment that they reached the Earth, a dog was trying to escape a maximum security city pound. With so many dogcatchers chasing the dog, Dave and Blark mistook the dog for Earth's leader. Immediately, they caught the dog, and the people of Zmed swore him in as a leader. Mainly, the newly named "Leader" is showing the people of Zmed what and how he does things on Earth. But with Leader being a dog, he is mainly showing the race what he and other dogs do on earth. With this, some of the more canine things he does are considered great feats to the Zmedians, like drinking from the toilet, playing dead, and even having a massive and rather nasty bowel movement. The characters consist of King Adrian, the king who loves Leader and his ways, as well as Adrian's son, a spoiled young prince named Prince Guz who totally despises Leader in every way; and the twin explorers named Dave and Blark who saved Leader. Each episode is only one to three minutes long and aired randomly on Nicktoons.
