Fantadroms is a Latvian children's sci-fi cartoon by production company Studio Dauka. The episodes were released sporadically between 1985 and 1995, and all thirteen of them were released as a collection on DVD in 2006. The hero of the show is a yellow shape-shifting robot called Indrikis XIII, who usually takes the form of a cat. He flies through space, mediating various disputes between the other characters. One recurring dynamic in the show is the love triangle between Indrikis XIII and Receklite - the flying purple cat-octopus with whom he is in love with, and the rat – who is in love with Indrikis. Other recurring characters include a cow, a (human) woman, and an amorphous pink blob. The episode "Salt" won the Lielais Kristaps award for best animation in 1985. The show has no dialogue and drama unfolds through pantomime and expressive noises such as grunts, groans, and laughter, which allows the show to cross language barriers.

The series is written and directed by Josh Selig, creator of Wonder Pets and 3rd & Bird. Speed Racer X, known in Japan as Mach Go Go Go, is a remake of the original 1967 series produced by Tatsunoko Production, the same studio that did the original. The show originally aired in Japan in 1997 on TV Tokyo and lasted only 34 episodes of a planned 52. The Kwicky Koala Show is a Saturday morning cartoon produced by Hanna-Barbera Australia in 1981 for CBS. The TV program is notable for being among cartoon director Tex Avery's final works. Avery died during production in 1980 and the show was broadcast for one season on CBS. As it was produced in Australia, the Cartoon Network and later Boomerang broadcast was sourced from PAL masters, rather than NTSC masters like many other Hanna-Barbera productions. Funnybones was a Welsh children's television series that was first aired in Welsh on S4C and in English on the BBC in 1992. It was based on the eponymous series of books by Janet and Allan Ahlberg which were illustrated by Andre Amstutz and focused on the adventures of a family of skeletons, sometimes known as the Funnybones. There was Big Funnybone, Little Funnybone, and Dog Funnybone. Each episode was 5 minutes in length. The voices were provided by popular comedian Griff Rhys Jones who also plays Moon Man, who serves as the narrator in the TV series.
