The Mr. Men Show, a North American remake of the British series, Mr. Men and Little Miss, is virtually identical to the original British version, apart from the live-action skits, actors and actresses, theme song, and credits. Its original air was in Canada. Its air in the USA started in the fall of 1997, syndicated by the Summit Media Group. In the American version, there were live action characters including The News Lady, The Game Show Guy,a carpenter with his assistant, and a mad scientist with her assistant, among others. The Raccoons and the Lost Star is a precursor TV Special to the animated series The Raccoons and debuted in 1983. It came after the first two Raccoons seasonal specials, which were The Christmas Raccoons in 1980 and The Raccoons on Ice in 1981. There are some thematic elements that don't exist in the first specials, such as the Raccoons' world being separate from that of the humans. Carland Cross was an 1996 hardboiled animated television series developed with the collaboration of Belgian, French and Canadian broadcasters. The series spanned 26 episodes and was based on the comics The Adventures of Carland Cross, by Belgian natives Olivier Grenson and Michel Oleffe. Carland Cross tells the story of a fictional British private investigator specializing in curious and inexplicable cases. The series aired late 1996 under the French-language title Carland Coss and in other markets, such as Spanish, as Las aventuras de Carland Cross. Of the 26 episodes, only 3 stories of the original print comic were used: 'The Golem', 'The Monster Under Sea', and 'The Mysteries of The Loch Ness'. Although the television series remains unknown in international television, the animated television series was a success in the late 1990s to early 2000s in European countries such as Belgium, France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland. However, it was also popular in South America, and especially in Argentina. Currently the series is only aired on Belgium and Swiss broadcasts.

The Zimmer Twins is a Canadian children's website and broadcast animation project. The project was created by producer Jason Krogh and artist Aaron Leighton and is produced through Lost the Plot Productions Inc. A selection of the user-generated episodes is produced into broadcast shorts and air on Teletoon. Les Jumeaux Zimmer is the French-language version of the show and website. The Zimmer Twins is known for its unique format which combines online participation and broadcast delivery. Children are invited to create and share 1-minute animated episodes using a story editor and library of animation. The audience creates endings to short, professionally produced story-starters. Kids tell their stories by choosing actions, characters, props and backgrounds. They can also add their own dialog and on-screen text. New clips are occasionally added. The original Zimmer Twins website launched on March 14, 2005, with the show first airing on Teletoon in May. A total of 60 broadcast spots were produced and broadcast in the 2005/2006 season. By the end of the first season over 100,000 user-created episodes were created by over 50,000 registered members. A major revision of the site was launched July 1, 2006. A total of 120 broadcast episodes were broadcast in the 2006/2007 season and 32 more were broadcast in 2008. The site's population passed 200 000 on November 5, 2011.

CRUNCH a Saturday morning programming block dedicated to animation on the Canadian television channel YTV. CRUNCH premiered on September 9, 2006, replacing The Zone Summer Weekends hosted by Sugar and Carlos and "Vortex" hosted by Paula. From its beginning until mid September 2008 it was hosted by Ajay. Starting October 4, 2008 Andy is the host. The theme of the new programming block is a new holiday called "day 6" where there is no homework, chores or hobbies, such as music classes which could interrupt a kid's day during the hours of 7 a.m. to 12 p.m.. YTV promoted the new programming block by inviting kids to download a kit which included door hangers informing others that day 6 was on and no chores and homework were being completed. There were also flyers which contained many of the programming block's slogans and a large notebook poster. The hosted portions of CRUNCH were different than other programming blocks. Rather than having a host talk for 5 minutes after a show, it's divided into two parts: one during the second commercial break, and one during the credits. Crunch also uses special on-screen bugs. Sister block The Zone followed its footsteps on September 3, 2007.
