El Hormiguero is a Spanish television program with a live audience focusing on comedy, science, and politics running since September 2006. It is hosted and produced by screenwriter Pablo Motos. The show aired on Spain's Cuatro channel from launch until June 2011 and is now broadcast on Antena 3. Recurring guests on the show include Luis Piedrahita, Raquel Martos, Marron & "The Man in Black", and puppet ants Trancas and Barrancas. It has proved a ratings success, and has expanded from a weekly 120-minute show to a daily 40-minute show in its third season, which began on September 17, 2007. The show won the Entertainment prize at the 2009 Rose d'Or ceremony.

The show aired in South Korea from Monday to Friday in sitcom format. Due to its popularity, the show filmed more episodes than were initially planned. Many of the characters starred in commercials and advertisements in Korea. The show's popularity also led to High Kick Through the Roof, which aired in 2009-2010, and High Kick 3: The Counterattack of the Short Leg, which aired in 2011-2012.

Salut les Terriens! is a French talk show hosted by Thierry Ardisson, launched on Canal+ on November 4, 2006, and then moved to C8 on September 10, 2016. The show subsequently changed its name and format in 2018 to become Les Terriens du Samedi! (The Earthlings of Saturday!). Initially conceived as a humorous take on current events with several guests and various games and segments, it later evolved into a more structured format with panel discussions and regular segments. In 2018, Thierry Ardisson sought to revamp the concept, believing the previous version had run its course, hence the transition to Les Terriens du samedi! with a new set and new segments, and a 360-degree turn in the ideology of the guests.

The Greg Behrendt Show is a daytime talk show which premiered in syndication on September 12, 2006. The show was distributed by Sony Pictures Television Distribution and was taped at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City. In addition to airing in syndication, the show was carried nationwide over Superstation WGN, which aired the show at 2 PM ET until its final weeks when they moved the show to 2 AM ET. The network replaced the show with The Steve Wilkos Show in the slot following its final episode. The show was also streamed on the Sony website.

Web Junk 20 is an American television program in which Vh1 and iFilm collaborate to highlight the twenty funniest and most interesting clips collected from the Internet that week. The show is now hosted by comedian Aries Spears. Patrice O'Neal hosted the first two seasons, while Jim Breuer hosted Season 3. Rachel Perry introduces the premise of each clip via voice-over. Season 3 of the show introduced credit given to websites the clips are taken from. Previous seasons of the show would only introduce the clips, but website addresses from sites such as ebaumsworld.com or break.com could clearly be seen in the clips.

The VH1 Rock Honors were an annual ceremony paying homage to bands who influenced the sound of rock music. The events began in 2006, and the final event took place in 2008. The general format of each show is for modern bands to "pay tribute" to classic greats of the rock/metal world, after which time the artist being paid tribute to plays multiple songs. The 2006 and 2007 shows featured four inductees each, whereas the 2008 show featured one, albeit with multiple bands paying tribute. Comics Unleashed is a half-hour comedic talk show produced by the Entertainment Studios production company and hosted by Byron Allen, with John Cramer as announcer and DJ Cobra providing music support. The show features a panel of four guest comedians performing their standup bits thinly disguised as a sit-down chat show, sometimes preceded by a brief monologue or joke from Allen. Certain episodes were branded as Comics Unleashed: Hot Chocolate, as the featured comedians on those episodes were all of African descent.

Förkväll was a Swedish daily talk show that started airing in 2006 on TV4 in January 2011 the last episode was broadcast before the show was cancelled. Förkväll focused on life style and popular culture and is an attempt to compete with the SVT show Gokväll, but for a younger demographic. For the first season, the hosts were the model and reality show star Carolina Gynning, singer and actress Kayo Shekoni, journalist Alexandra Pascalidou, comedian and radio show host Carina Berg and author Mari Jungstedt. In the two first season was the program broadcasting live from Stockholm Central Station. Among the guests have been Victoria Silvstedt, Kjell Bergqvist, Helena Bergström, Andreas Wilson, Anna Book, Måns Zelmerlöw as well as internationally acclaimed stars such as Irish boy band Westlife. On 23 March 2007 it was revealed that TV4 was about to cancel Förkväll after its season finale the same day. TV4 got a storm of emails and phone calls from angry viewers and TV4 says to Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet and Expressen that they are now instead planning a third season later this year. On May 24 the decision was made to cancel Förkväll. The reason was economical and that Carolina Gynning didn't want to continue with the talk show. Carolina Gynning and Carina Berg will be hosting the audition part of Idol 2007 in Sweden.

Best of the Worst was a British panel game, which was broadcast on Channel 4 in 2006. The show was created by Giles Pilbrow and Colin Swash. Hosted by Alexander Armstrong, it featured two teams of two players, one captained by David Mitchell and the other by Johnny Vaughan. The other panellists were either comedians or well known television personalities. The show looked at the worst things ever to happen in the world, such as the person with the worst luck, the worst diet, or the worst inventions.

The program served as a brand extension of the NBC Universal-owned iVillage website, which focuses on advice and issues of interest to women, and was hosted by actress and comedian Kim Coles, season one The Apprentice winner Bill Rancic, and Ereka Vetrini, who also was in the first season of The Apprentice. The show was produced through the facilities of WMAQ-TV in Chicago, and aired exclusively on stations owned and operated by NBC. This program was originally known as iVillage Live, which premiered on December 4, 2006 with virtually the same format. iVillage Live emanated from Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, with Miami-based NBC station WTVJ responsible for the program's production. The show also aired on a one-day delay on Bravo when it launched, but the repeats ended on Bravo after three weeks. On September 4, 2007, NBC Universal Television and iVillage.com officially announced the relaunch of IVillage Live as In the Loop with iVillage. At its initial launch, iVillage Live was hosted by Molly Pesce, Stefani "Sissy" Schaeffer, and Guy Yovan, and featured contributions from Naamua Delaney and Bob Oschack. All five relatively unknown hosts were removed from the program when it was relaunched.
