Face to Face

Face to Face is a Philippine reality tabloid talk show aired on TV5 and hosted by Amy Perez. It is produced exclusively by ABC Development Corporation and bills itself as a "Barangay Hall On-Air." It is very similar to the US television show The Jerry Springer Show but has a Filipino cultural perspective, predominantly with "marginalized and impoverished guests". The show aims to resolve minor conflicts between two arguing parties with the help of a panel of counselors that represent the legal, emotional and spiritual aspects of living. The show is one of the most popular talk shows in the Philippines but has also proved to be controversial due to the violence exhibited in the show. Hence, the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board has requested that the show "tone down physical altercations between guests".

History of Architecture and Design

Between 1975 and 1982, The Open University broadcast a series of televised courses on the genealogy of the modern movement: A305, History of Architecture and Design 1890–1939. Through twenty-four programs aired on BBC 2, the course team aimed to offer students and viewers a critical understanding of the intentions and views of the world that fuelled the modern movement, and to present some of the alternative traditions that flourished alongside it. The course nevertheless avoided the more dismissive positions of its contemporaries, while engaging political issues of its day such postwar urban planning and the housing question.

The Sunday Programme

The Sunday Programme was GMTV's political programme. It launched on 16 October 1994 as a replacement for Sunday Best, which was GMTV's original Sunday morning magazine. The programme aired between 7:00 am and 8:00 am, just after The Sunday Review (a 60-minute signed review of the week's news). It was originally presented by Alastair Stewart, who left in 2001, and Steve Richards took over. From 1995 to 2001, the programme was called Alastair Stewart's Sunday Programme, but this was changed when Alastair left in 2001. In 2008, the programme was quietly axed and replaced with children's programming.
