Animal Mechanicals Rex, Unicorn, Komodo, Mouse, and Sasquatch, live and play in a place unlike any other; a colorful "snap-together-take-apart" world which can also transform. Things are always popping up, changing shape and most of all presenting challenges to the animal mechanicals. In each adventure the animal mechanicals get their new mission from Island Owl who displays images on her face, which changes to a screen. Seven Color Mask (七色仮面, Nanairo Kamen) is the name and title character of a tokusatsu TV series, later called New Seven Color Mask (新七色仮面, Shin Nanairo Kamen). It was created by Kōhan Kawauchi, who also created Moonlight Mask. This B&W TV show was the first superhero TV series by Toei Company Ltd. It was broadcast on NET (now TV Asahi) from June 3, 1959 to June 30, 1960, with a total of 57 episodes divided into 7 segments. Aside from being Toei's first TV superhero show, this series was also the debut of actor Sonny Chiba, who was 19 at the time, who took over the title role from Susumu Namijima after Episode 32.

Huntik: Secrets & Seekers is an Italian/American animated television series, begun in 2009, created and directed by Iginio Straffi. It was a co-production between Big Bocca Productions, a company owned by Richard McWilliam, CEO and owner of Upper Deck and Rainbow S.p.A. It acts like one of the spin-offs to the Winx Club series. All of the show's designs, animation and visual style were created in Italy, while the scriptwriting and original voice recording were done in the United States. It aired on The CW4Kids at 11:30am Eastern Standard Time on Saturdays. In Europe, the series used to air on Disney XD, and on CITV. In India, the series' first season aired on Disney XD in 2010. The series premiered on January 3, 2009, with one episode in the US and the first four episodes in Europe, making Jetix the home for premieres beyond the first episode. It was revealed in a magazine with the new season of the Winx Club, that the second season of Huntik would air in fall 2012 in the US. However, the second season began airing in the spring of 2012 in UK on CITV & Australia on channel eleven. The first season was released on DVD by Anime Works in 2010.

Sapphire & Steel is a British television science-fiction fantasy series starring David McCallum as Steel and Joanna Lumley as Sapphire. Produced by ATV, it ran from 1979 to 1982 on the ITV network. The series was created by Peter J. Hammond who conceived the programme under the working title The Time Menders, after a stay in an allegedly haunted castle. Hammond also wrote all the stories except for the fifth, which was co-written by Don Houghton and Anthony Read. None of the stories had onscreen titles, or any official titles assigned by the writers. The Region 1 Complete Series DVD release gives the titles "Escape Through a Crack in Time", "The Railway Station", "The Creature's Revenge", "The Man Without a Face", "Dr. McDee Must Die" and "The Trap", respectively. These titles have often been cited as having been created by science fiction magazine Time Screen.
