Humanity is under attack by demonic creatures called Oni. Ninja Captor is a Japanese tokusatsu TV series aired from April 7, 1976 to January 26, 1977 on TV Tokyo 12 Channel, produced by Toei Company, Ltd. This Sentai-esque series aired during the run of Shotaro Ishinomori's original Super Sentai series, Himitsu Sentai Gorenger and was notably first superhero team show produced by Toei under the Saburo Yatsude/Hatte pseudonym. Daisuke Izumo graduates from the Wind-Demon Stealth-Army, a secret army aiming for the conquest of Japan. He instead escapes, and becomes the leader of the "Captor," a ninja team supervised by Mujin Tendou. The Captor team's mission is to battle the ninja sent out by the Wind-Demon General, Retsufuu Fuuma. This show used to be considered by some to be a part of the Super Sentai franchise* , but was later excluded. In 2013, it got a Shout-Out in the fourth episode of Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger: Season 2.

Koharu is a dull high school girl who is always alone. Her only hobby is making plastic models. Model Suit Gunpla Builders Beginning G is an original video animation series produced by Sunrise to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Gundam plastic model kits. It's directed by Kou Matsuo and written by Yousuke Kuroda, and features character designs by Kaichiro Terada. The OVA was released in August 15, 2010 to December 19, 2010 with 3 15-minute Episodes. Unlike other Gundam titles, Gunpla Builders Beginning G takes place in a present-day timeline. Aside to the OAV, two manga sequels were released in Dengeki Hobby Magazine.

Burn Up W is an anime OVA directed by Hiroshi Negishi and released in 1996. It was soon followed by a series version called Burn Up Excess though it occasionally lacks continuity with the series. The OVA consists of four episodes, chronicling Team Warrior through more missions. Like the original series, there is still a large amount of fan service.

An animated television series was created and originally broadcast on Nagoya TV. It was also broadcast internationally on Taiwan Television, TVB Jade, GMA Network, QTV 11 and Hero TV. The series was superseded by Bomberman B-Daman Bakugaiden Victory.

Space Symphony Maetel: Galaxy Express 999 Side Story is a 2004 anime series created by Leiji Matsumoto, and is a side story to the Galaxy Express 999 series and the sequel to Maetel Legend.

Bantatay or The Guardian is a drama-comedy-fantasy series from GMA Network featuring Raymart Santiago, Gelli de Belen, Jennica Garcia and Carl Guevarra. The show premiered on September 20, 2010 replacing Langit Sa Piling Mo. The show also airs on GMA Pinoy TV worldwide which premiered two days later, September 22, 2010, from the original airdate. Due to high ratings, Bantatay initially extended its 10-week run by 3 weeks before finally being extended until February 25, 2011. The show was originally to be replaced by Alakdana but Alakdana was moved to the timeslot previously occupied by Ang Yaman ni Lola after Eat Bulaga. Bantatay was inspired by the 1995 American Film Fluke as well as the hit the children's TV series, 100 Deeds for Eddie McDowd.
